O Allah! Please we need our money back

Ya Allah! O Lord of whole universe and beyond…

Please protect Pakistan directly, ameen!

You know Asif Zardari just donated $1 million to Your saint in Ajmair city.  I know the Saint Khawajah Moeenuddin Chisti is very kind heart.  He will distribute that money to the caretaker of his shrine.  But that money belongs to Pakistan.  This is unfair na, hay na.

Look at cheater Zardari, he didn’t keep his mannat in Pakistan so he can make an excuse to go to India and benefit them with Pakistani money.  His forty thieves including his hushpuppies spending national treasury with both hands, feet and tongue.

Allah (SWT) I know You are the most Powerful so please you ask Khawajah Moeenuddin Chisti that why did he do that.  Why he accepted the mannat of Zardari and our money.

And if he is not biased, then he should accept my wishes too.

1) I ask him to give us back our money.

2) I ask him to stop expected war between India and Pakistan.

3) I ask him to help Kashmiris in Kashmir and do no more favours to India Army.

Or he wouldn’t do so until he is given donations even with black money????????

خواجہ معین الدین چشتی صاحب، اگر یہ صحیح ہے کہ آپ پردے میں زندہ ہیں اور زمین کے اندر سے بھی سب کی باتیں سنتے ہیں تو میں آپ سے مخاطب ہوں… میرا خیال ہے کہ اگر زرداری جیسے جرائم پیشہ کی منّت بغیر آپ کسی تکلف کے پورا کر سکتے ہیں اور اتنے ہی طاقتور اور رحمدل ہیں تو ذرا کشمیر کی مدد بھی کر دیں… یا نذرانے کے بغیر مدد نہیں کرتے… یہ سرکاری ڈاکو چالیس چوروں کے ساتھ جس میں اس کے تینوں پلّے بھی شامل ہیں کس کے خرچے پر گیا اور اتنا عطیہ کہاں سے دیا… خواجہ صاحب آپ کچھ پوچھتے پاچھتے نہیں؟… چوروں ڈاکوؤں کی منّتیں بھی پوری کر دیتے ہیں… حالانکہ اس کی قطعی ضرورت نہیں تھی کیونکہ یہ تو کسی بھوکے کے ہاتھ میں نوالہ دیکھے تو وہ چھین لیتا ہے…

خیر مجھے تو وہ دولت واپس چاہیے جو یہ آپ کے مزار پر لٹا کر آیا ہے… آپ کے مزار کے کرتا دھرتا کو بھلا دنیوی دولت سے کیا لینا دینا وہ بھی دولت جو کسی ملک کا خزانہ ہو اور اسکے غریب عوام کا حق ہے… آپ تو غریبوں کو دینے والے مشہور ہیں… کبھی آپ اپنے سائیڈ کے لوگوں کو بھی کہیں کہ کبھی پاکستان کو ایک روپیہ دے دیں تحفے میں… اس میں آپ بھی دلچسپی نہیں لیں گے… پاکستان کے معاملے میں بڑے بڑے اولیاء بھی مجرموں کی طرح خاموش ہو جاتے ہیں… 

یا الله!  پاکستان کی آپ خود براہ راست حفاظت فرمایے میں تو ان سے زندوں مردوں سے چاہے کتنے بڑے اولیاء ہوں، بیزار ہوں…

Names as Symbol of Crimes – نام بھی علامت جرم ہوتے ہیں

Hitler’s name for Jews is a symbol of hatred and brutality.  India’s name for Kashmiris is a symbol of officially illegal oppression, barbarism.  Jewish or Jews’ name for Palestinians is the symbol of crime against humanity and illegal occupation of land, wherever they find an inch of territory they would want to own it even by bloodshed.  America’s name in Muslim world is a symbol of war declared against Muslims.

In Islamic history, Yazeed, Meer Jafar and Meer Sadiq are the names of shame, embarrassment, treason, lust for power and authority, greed for wealth and insincerity.  No decent Muslim want their children to be called with these names.

The history of Pakistan is soon going to produce hundreds of such names that have earned shame for the whole nation.  Names that even their own generations will be embarrassed to show any association with them.  The nation already curses those who caused the division of East Pakistan and West Pakistan.

 نام سارے ہی اچھے ہوتے ہونگے… لیکن کچھ نام انسانوں کی بد کرداری کی وجہ سے برائی، نفرت اور جرم کی علامت بن جاتے ہیں…

جس طرح ہٹلر کا نام یہودیوں کے لئے نفرت کا باعث ہے اسی طرح  یزید، میر جعفر، میر صادق … یہ تین اسلامی تاریخ کے وہ نام ہیں جنھیں کوئی غیرت مند مسلمان اپنے بچوں کی شناخت نہیں بنانا چاہتا… انکا قصور کیا تھا… یہ اپنی قوم کے غدّار تھے… دوسری قوموں کے ہمدرد… اپنی خواہشات کے غلام… اختیارات کے حریص… خزانوں کے لالچی… اپنی اولادوں کو حرام، لوٹ اور غدّاری کی دولت پر عیش کروانے والے باپ… کیا کوئی جانتا ہے کہاں ہیں انکی اولادیں یا خاندان؟  کیا کوئی انکے لئے دعاۓ مغفرت کرنے والا ہے؟  کیا کوئی انکے خاندان اور رشتہ داروں میں سے کھڑا ہو کر یہ کہ سکتا ہے کہ ہم انکے خاندان سے ہیں؟  کیا انکی غداری اور دولت انہیں ذلت و رسوائی سے بچا سکی؟…

مستقبل قریب میں کچھ اور ایسے نام اب پاکستان کی تاریخ کا حصّہ بنیں گے جن سے نسبت جوڑتے ہوۓ لوگ شرمندہ ہوا کریں گے… آصف زرداری، بلاول زرداری، نواز شریف، الطاف یزید ایم کیو ایم کا بانی، رحمان ملک، شاہی سید، فضل الرحمان اور انکے چلے چانٹے، پاکستانی سیاست کے کانٹے…

جنکے لئے آج لوگوں کے دلوں میں نفرتیں اور زبانوں پر بد دعائیں ہوں، وہ بھلا کتنے دن اور عیش کر سکتے ہیں… یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے ماں باپ کے نام کو بھی دھبہ لگایا اور اولادوں کو بھی سرکاری سرپرستی میں بے خوفی اور بے غیرتی کے ساتھ جرائم کا راستہ دکھایا… اور انکی عورتیں بھی انکے حرام کی کمائی پر عیش کرنے میں ساتھ اور جرائم کی شریک کار…

انکے لئے عزت نام ہے اپنے جرائم کو جسٹفاۓ کرنے کا… ہزاروں لوگ انکے جرم کی کامیابی کی کہانیاں سنیں اور یہ اپنے حریفوں کو نیچا دکھاتے رہیں کہ دیکھو ہم نے پاکستان کو زیادہ نقصان پنہچایا…

ان سے کچھ بھی مانگنا ذلت و رسوائی اور عزت نفس کا سودا کرنے کے برابر ہے…

Sense of Deprivation – احساس محرومی – Part 1

What urged me to write on this topic is the statement of a politician, “the sense of deprivation in people is causing the demand for new provinces”.  What I say, it is not ‘new provinces’ we are going to make but we are dividing the provinces with many cities into many small size provinces.  Who knows in future, further sense of deprivation would cause further division of citi-sized provinces into town-size and then neighbourhood-size provinces.  I think they were called tribes.  So we will become a tribal society.

Deprivation generally means missing some or more necessities of life, lacking physical abilities or mental powers, losing possessions or will to do something, etc.

.

People say that the increase in crime rate is due to deprivation.  According to psychologists, the feeling of deprivation can force people to jealousy, murder, depression and suicide.

What has come into observance, the practical meaning of word ‘deprivation’ in my country is to choose or create a reason or reasons to develop ‘sense of deprivation’, mostly to seek favours or win sympathies from others.  The strong stimuli behind this self-conspiracy is the fear of taking responsibility of actions and decisions.  Everybody wants to stand up proudly saying, “yeah, I know I am a sinful person, but at least I didn’t do this and that……(a long list of good intentions never practiced in real).”  People are in a greed of having everything while losing nothing.  This is an unnatural and evil behaviour.  They never get to realize that they keep losing everything and while getting nothing at the end but regrets and feelings of deprivation.   I hope I made my point clear to myself.  Thank You Lord!

As Pakistani society has divided itself into many occupational, status-based, age-wise and religious communities………such as youth, elders, politicians, show-biz, doctors, teachers, nurses, lawyers, journalists, farmers or Defense Area, Cant. Area, Gulshan Area, North Nazimabad Area, Gulberg Area, Model Town Area, Laloo-Khait, Surjani Town, Malir Town, Saudabad, Khokrapaar or Agha Khani Community, Khoja Community, Hindu Community, Christian Community, Memon Community, Dehli-Sodagraan Community, Saadaat Amroha Community, Rizvia Society, etc. (such division among Muslims except for administerial purpose is a kufr)………….. they all have developed their own “sense of deprivation”.

Religious people feel deprived when lose their donors and find themselves helpless for earning by physical work.

Politicians, when don’t get votes, go furious due to depression and go to any extent in revenge from both opposition and people.

Show-biz tycoons indulge into the lust of deprivation when don’t get awards and appreciation or lose fans.

Women are the most deprived part of our society as they are never satisfied with what they have and keep exploiting the term “women’s rights”.

Women love to live alive in a continuous state of depression related to their bodily shape, facial attraction and fashion.

Students convince themselves that they can’t study because of lacking facilities and good educational system.

Elders waste their old age in pushing their children into guilt by reminding the favours they had done to them and for not getting the same return.

Under-privileged think they have all the rights to become a crime-activist and prostitutes as the result of people’s negligence and as the system demands them to be.  The most famous dialogue preached by dramas and movies is, “what has society given to us? now its time to take revenge from society”.

قسم سے کہہ رہی ہوں اس ملک کی تباہی کی سب سے بڑی وجہ یہ ہے کہ ہر کوئی، ہر کوئی، ہر شعبے کا ہر شخص، ہر گھر میں بیٹھا ہوا ہر شخص، اپنی کمیونٹی کی ایک برائی سننے کو تیار نہیں، الٹا اپنے اپنے کنوؤں کے مینڈکوں کے ہر الٹے سیدھے کام کا دفاع کرتے ہیں… ہر ایسی تنقید کو جس سے انکے دل کا چور سامنے آجاۓ  اور انکی تہذیب، روشن خیالی اور ملک و قوم کی خدمت کا پول کھل جاۓ… کہتے ہیں کہ یہ فالتو باتیں ہیں… کام کی باتوں پر توجہ دیں… مطلب کے جو انکے مطابق کام کی بات ہو وہ اہم ہے اور وہی سب کو کرنی چاہیے… واہ! کیا آزادی راۓ اور جمہوریت ہے… مطلب یہ کہ زبان تمہاری، الفاظ ہمارے… ہم تو جیسے پاگل ہیں…

اور جب زرداری، الطاف حسین، نواز شریف اور دوسرے سیاسی شیطانوں پر لعنت بھیجی جا سکتی ہے… تو پھر شوبز کے لوگ اور کھلاڑی کس کھیت کی مولی ہیں اور کیوں معصومیت کے ڈھونگ میں انہیں بخشا جاۓ… ارے غلط باتیں ہیں، الزامات ہیں تو دفاع کرو، سچ بتادو سب کو… ورنہ اعتراف کرو…

اور میں ٹھری دل جلی، پاگل، جاہل، خود سر، بد تہذیب اور بدتمیز… ایسی ہی باتیں کرتی رہوں گی جب تک دل چاہے گا… کیسی باتیں.. ایسی… کہ میرے لحاظ سے ملک کے تمام شعبوں کے لوگ برابر کے حساس، منحت کش، سچے، معصوم، ایماندار ہیں… اور سب کا حکومت کے مال پر برابر کا حق ہے… ہر شہری چاہے جس فیلڈ کا ہو برابر ہے… ورنہ سب شیطان یا سب غافل یا سب پاگل اور جاہل…

آج بات کرنی ہے میں نے “احساس محرومی” کی…

آج تک تو مہنگائی، غربت، جہالت اور دہشتگردی کو سسٹم کی ناکامی کی جڑ بتایا جاتا تھا… آج ایک نیا بیان سنا ایک سیاستدان کا کہ احساس محرومی کی وجہ سے نئے صوبوں کی بات ہو رہی ہے… کوئی کہ رہا ہے کہ احساس محرومی کی وجہ سے جرائم میں اضافہ ہو رہا ہے… یہ تو کہا ہی جاتا ہے کہ احساس محرومی کے وجہ سے ڈپریشن ہوتا ہے… لوگ خود کشی تک کر لیتے ہیں…دوسروں سے حسد کرنے لگتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ دوسروں کو قتل کر دیتے ہیں…

احساس تو سمجھ آ گیا… یہ محرومی کیا ہے… اگر محرومی چیزوں کے نہ ہونے کو کہتے ہیں تو اس لحاظ سے تو پاکستان کا ہر شخص خود کو محروم سمجھتا ہے… سب کے اپنے اپنے احساس محرومیوں کے معیار ہیں…

سیاستدانوں کو ووٹ نہ ملیں، مخالف جیت جائیں تو انھیں احساس محرومی ہو جاتا ہے…

دینی لوگوں کو چندہ نہ ملے تو وہ محرومین میں شامل کرلیتے ہیں اپنے آپ کو…

شوبز کے لوگوں کو ایوارڈ نہ ملے، ہزار بارہ سو لوگ تعریف نہ کریں تب تک وہ احساس محرومی کا شکار رہتے ہیں…

خواتین کو انکے من چاہے حقوق نہ ملیں تو انکی محرومی کا احساس انھیں کچھ کرنے نہیں دیتا…

طلبہ طالبات کو سہولتیں نہ ملیں تو احساس محرومی کی وجہ سے پڑھنے سے انکار کر دیتے ہیں…

بزرگوں کی بات نہ مانی جاۓ اور انکو انکے مزاج کے مطابق عزت نہ دی جاۓ تو وہ احساس محرومی سے ہر وقت چڑچڑے ہی بنے رہتے ہیں…

کھلاڑیوں کو موقع نہ ملتا رہے جب تک کہ وہ کبھی نہ کبھی کامیاب ہوکر دکھا دیں، انکا احساس محرومی ختم نہیں ہوتا…

غریب کا احساس محرومی کہ اسکے پاس کچھ بھی نہیں ہے، اسکو ہر قسم کے جرائم پر مجبور کر دیتا ہے…

اور ایک نئی بات بھی سامنے آئی کہ اگر کسی کی اصلاح بھی کرو تو اس کو بھی خواہ مخواہ احساس محرومی ہونے لگتا ہے کہ ہاۓ میرا دل توڑ دیا…

اگر محرومی معاشرے میں کوئی مقام نہ ہونے نہ پہچانے جانے کو کہتے ہیں کہ آتے جاتے ہر کوئی سلام کوئی کیوں نہیں کرتا… تو پھر یہ خالص شوبز کا ڈپریشن ہے… اور ان لوگوں کا جن کی نظر میں عزت ہوتی ہی وہ ہے جو دوسروں کے تعریف کرنے سے بنے… اسی لئے ہمارے معاشرے کی اکثریت اور خاص کر نوجوان ہر قسم کا کام ہر حد تک کرنے کے لئے تیار ہو جاتے ہیں… کہ بس لوگ آگے پیچھے بھاگیں، ٹوٹ پڑیں آٹو گراف لینے کے لئے…

پچھلے کئی سالوں میں جو نظر آیا پریشان اور بے سکون نظر آیا… جس سے پوچھو کہ کیسے حال ہیں وہ مہنگائی کا رونا رونے لگتا ہے… بیماریوں کی تفصیل بتانا شروع کر دیتا ہے… تھکاوٹ، وقت کی کمی، مایوسی، بیزاری… پہلے تو کچھ دوسروں کے معاملات کی کھوج کرتے تھے لیکن اب تو ایک بھاگ دوڑ سی مچی ہوئی ہے… اور اسکے ساتھ ہی ذرا نظر ڈالیں شاپنگ سینٹرز پر، فاسٹ فوڈ کی دکانوں پر، بوتیک پر، شادی ہالز پر، دن بدن سڑکوں پر بڑھتی ہوئی نئی نئی گاڑیوں پر، مختلف مقاصد کے لئے نکلنے والی ریلیوں پر جن میں اکثر گاڑیاں اور موٹر سائیکلز گلی گلی پھرائی جاتی ہیں… ایک ایک گلی میں چار چار مہنگے اسکولوں پر… آۓ دن ہونے والی شادیاں اور ہر سال پیدا ہونے والے بچے…

یہ سب دیکھ کر صرف ایک احساس ہوتا ہے مجھے اور وہ یہ کہ اس قوم کو سب کچھ دے کرجن چیزوں  سے محروم کر دیا گیا ہے اور وہ ہے “سکون، آرام، چین، شکرگذاری، احسان مندی”…

احساس محرومی میں غلطی کس کی ہوتی ہے… انکی جو دوسروں کو اپنے سے کم تر جان کر انکو انکی محرومیوں کا احساس دلاتے ہیں… یا انکی جو خود کو احساس محرومی میں مبتلا کر لیتے ہیں…

عوامی سطح پر تو خیر جو اخلاق ہے ہماری ٩٥% عوام کا… عام لوگ اپنے سے نیچے والوں کو حقیر کرتے ہیں اور اپنے سے اوپر والوں سے حقیر ہو جاتے ہیں… لیکن اس میں ایک بہت بڑا اور برا کردار ہمارے سیاسی شیطانوں اور دینی تماشہ بازوں کا بھی ہے… جب اپنے ہی ووٹرز کو روٹی، کپڑا، مکان جیسی بنیادی ضروریات کو زندگی کا مقصد بنا کر پیش کیا جاۓ تاکہ لوگ اپنی چار پانچ فٹ کی ذات اور چند انچ کے پیٹ سے آگے کبھی کچھ سوچ ہی نہ سکے… ایک سے لے کر ہزار کپڑے، میچنگ جوتے، زیورات، صرف اور صرف کھانوں کی انٹرٹینمنٹ اور کھانوں کی پکنک اور پھر زمینوں کے گز بڑھانے کی کوشش…

اور پھر کوئی اور آجاۓ جاہل عوام کو اختیارات کے خواب دکھا نے… یا پھر غیر ملکی ثقافت اور رسموں اور رواجوں کے آئینے میں سکون اور خوشیوں کو تلاش کرنے کی تھیراپیز کرائی جاتی ہیں… دینی جماعتیں اور مذہبی علماء اکثر دنیا کی ہوس نہ کرنے اور دنیا کی آسائشیں چھوڑ دینے کو پریشانیوں سے نجات اور سکون باعث بتاتے ہیں…

خیر جو بھی ہے، ایک سوال یہ ضرور پوچھنا چاہیے سب کو خود سے کہ ہمیں کوئی احساس محرومی ہے کہ نہیں؟ اور ہے تو اس کی وجوہات کیا ہیں؟ اور کہیں یہ صرف ناشکری کا نتیجہ تو نہیں… کیونکہ الله ظالم تو نہیں کہ اٹھارہ کروڑ کے اٹھارہ کروڑ کو سزا یا آزمائش میں مبتلا کر دے…

1-10 Hijri – Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “I feel cool breeze coming from Hind.”  

1867 – Sir Syed Ahmed Khan said, “It was now impossible for Hindus and Muslims to progress as a single nation.”

1930 - Dr. Muhammad Iqbal said, “I therefore demand the formation of a consolidated Muslim State in the best interest of India and Islam.  For India, it means security and peace resulting from an internal balance of power; for Islam, an opportunity to rid itself of the stamp that Arabia Imperialism was forced to give it, to mobilize its law, its education, its culture, and to bring them into closer contact with its own original spirit and with the spirit of modern times.”

23rd March, 1940 

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah said, ” The Hindus and the Muslims belong to two different religions, philosophies, social customs, and literature.  It is quite clear that Hindus and Muslims derive their inspirations from different sources of history.  They have different epics, their heroes are different, and they have different episodes.  Very often the hero of one is foe of the other, and likewise, their victories and defeats overlap.  To yoke together two such nations under a single state, one as a numerical minority and the other as a majority, must lead to growing discontent and the final destruction of any fabric that may be so built for the government of such a state.”

The statement of Pakistan Resolution (Lahore Resolution) said, “No constitutional plan would be workable or acceptable to the Muslims unless geographical contiguous units are demarcated into regions which should be so constituted with such territorial re-adjustments as may be necessary.  That the areas in which the Muslims are numerically in majority as in the North-Western and Eastern zones of India should be grouped to constitute independent states in which the constituent units shall be autonomous and sovereign.  

That adequate, effective and mandatory safeguards shall be specifically provided in the constitution for minorities in the units and in the regions for the protection of their religious, cultural, economic, political, administrative and other rights of the minorities.”

Pakistan (Lahore) Resolution was drafted by Sir Sikandar Hayat Khan, Chief Minister of Punjab.

It was read by Maulvi Abul-Kasim Fazlul Huq, Chief Minister of Bengal and was seconded by Chaudhry Khaleeq-uz-Zaman.

It was accepted by Maulana Zafar Ali Khan from Punjab, Sardar Aurangzeb from North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwah), Sir Abdullah Haroon from Sindh, Qazi Esa from Baluchistan.

23rd March is called “Pakistan Day” because on this day Lahore Resolution was unanimously acknowledged by the leaders of Bengal, Baluchistan, Punjab, Sindh and North-West Frontier Province as the legal declaration for a separate Muslim state.

This resolution is based upon the Two-Nation Theory (TNT) presented by Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, which actually is the reinforcement of the Qur’anic concept of Muslims as a distinguished nation among world communities.  Kalimah Tayyabah (the pure declaration) “There is no deity but Allah, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah” is the soul of this theory which is an incentive sufficient to unite Muslims for the cause of Islam.

The prophecy of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gradually developed into an idea, a theory, a statement, a demand, a campaign/movement and finally into a state called Pakistan.  At this point, from achievement to identity and from liberty to responsibility for all Pakistanis.  The idea behind making of Pakistan is similar to the state of Madinah and in that relevance Pakistan has already initiated the process of global domination of Islam.  In making of Pakistan, the world has witnessed that the ‘Victory of Makkah’, as peaceful and unarmed as it was, is possible in any era.  Yet, the struggle to defend it is as bloody as it could be for any promised piece of land.

٢٣ مارچ یوم پاکستان کہلاتا ہے کیونکہ ١٩٤٠ میں اسی دن بنگال، سندھ، بلوچستان، پنجاب اور سرحد کے رہنماؤں نے متفقہ طور پر نہ صرف علامہ اقبال کے دو نظریے کی بنیاد پر تیار کی گئی قرار داد لاہور کو پاس کیا بلکہ قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح کی قیادت میں اس پر عمل کرنے کا بھی عہد کیا… علامہ اقبال کا دو قومی نظریہ اصل میں اعادہ ہے قرآن کے اس تصور کا کہ مسلمان دنیا کی ہر قوم سے مختلف اور منفرد ہے… اور کلمہ طیبہ “نہیں کوئی عبادت کے لائق سواۓ الله کے، محمد الله کے رسول ہیں” اس نظریہ کی روح ہے… جو کہیں کے بھی مسلمانوں کو کسی مقصد کے لئے متحد کرنے کے لئے کافی ہے… 

رسول صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا… “مجھے خطہ ہند سے ٹھنڈی ہوائیں آتی ہیں”… آپ صلی الله علیہ وسلم کے ان الفاظ نے ایک نیک شگون سے، ایک خیال، ایک نظریہ، ایک اعلان، ایک مسودے، ایک قرار داد، ایک مطالبے، ایک تحریک اور با الآخر ایک خطہ زمین کی شکل اختیار کر لی جو پاکستان کہلایا… قیام پاکستان کے ساتھ ہی یہ نظریہ، کامیابی سے شناخت اور آزادی سے ذمہ داری بن گیا… قیام پاکستان اور خلافت مدینہ کا محرک اور محور یہی نظریہ ہے… اور اس لحاظ سے پوری دنیا میں اسلامی خلافت کی طرف اٹھنے والا پہلا قدم… قیام پاکستان کی صورت میں ساری دنیا کو یہ یقین جو جانا چاہیے کہ خلافت مدینہ اور فتح مکہ جیسے عظیم اور غیر مسلح معرکے آج چودہ سو سال بعد بھی قابل عمل ہیں… البتہ انکی حفاظت اور انکا دفاع بھر پور مسلح  طاقت کے بغیر ممکن نہیں..ا 

پاکستان کوئی عام ملک نہیں… پاکستان کے دفاع اور اس کی ترقی کی ذمہ داری ہر نسل کے ہر شخص پرعائد ہوتی ہے… بالکل اسی طرح جس طرح باقی زندگی کے کام… پچھلے چودہ سو سالوں میں دنیا کا ہر عقیدہ، ہر نظریہ، ہر نظام اور ہر قرارداد آزمائی جا چکی ہے سواۓ اسلام کے… آج ساری دنیا کی نظریں پاکستان کی طرف اٹھی ہوئیں ہیں… بہت سی دشمنی میں، کچھ حیرت میں اور کچھ سوالیہ نشان بن کر… کہ پاکستان ان شخت ترین حالات سے کیسے نمٹے گا… اندرونی طور پر جرائم، جہالت، غفلت اور بیرونی مداخلت اور دشمنی… اور یہی چیلنج ہے آج کے ہر پاکستانی کے لئے… 

یہ صحیح ہے کہ دشمنوں کو اندر تک رسائی سیاست دانوں اور غداروں نے دی… لیکن اس سے بڑی اور بری حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ غدار چاہے کسی محکمےمیں ہوں،  ہمارے ہی عام گھروں اور خاندانوں کے لوگ تھے جن کو ہم نے نظر انداز کیا… اور دشمن تخریبی کاروائیوں کے لئے ہمارے ہی درمیان گھومتے پھرتے ہیں… نہ ہم آج تک انھیں پہچان سکے اور نہ انکے خلاف حکمرانوں کو کسی اقدام پر مجبور کرسکے… یہ ہماری غفلت اور نا اہلی ہے… اسی کو جہالت کہتے ہیں اور یہی سب سے برا جرم بھی ہے…

Wine

“They ask you concerning wine and gambling. Say: “In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit.”  Surah Al-Baqarah/The Cow 219

“You who believe intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination, of Satan’s handiwork: eschew such (abomination), that you may prosper….. Satan’s plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from salah (prayer): will you not then abstain?” Surah Al-Maidah /The Table Spread 90-91

Definition of any intoxication according to Qur’an:

1-  Drinking wine is a sin.  (The definition of sin is disobedience/deliberate violation/transgression/offense to Divine laws)

2- Drinking wine has some profits too but less in proportionate to sin.  

3- Drinking wine/intoxication is an abomination.  (The definition of abomination is detestation/abhorrence/disliked)

4- Wine is Satan’s handiwork.   

5- Wine/intoxication develops feelings of hatred among humans.

6- Wine/intoxication creates enmity among humans.

7-  Wine/intoxication stops from salah (five obligatory daily prayers)

8- Wine/intoxication hinders/obstructs from remembering Allah (SWT).

THOSE WHO CLAIM “DRINKING WINE” IS NOT PROVEN HARAM (PROHIBITED) FROM QUR’AN:

I am not quoting the ahadith (words of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) as many Muslims have issues on their authenticity.  I say sorry to my Prophet (pbuh) for that.  But no Muslim would have a doubt on the words of Qur’an.  The above verses have no words that are difficult to understand.  

Allah (SWT) is free of all needs, likes and dislikes.  Nothing can cause profit and loss to Him.  He Almighty doesn’t want us to drink wine or to be intoxicated.  If I am not a complete fool, I did not read the words like a straight order, “don’t drink wine or wine is prohibited on you”.  I only read the words as “drinking wine is a sin”.  Sin in simple words is “doing something that God doesn’t want us to do OR not doing something that God has told us to do.  

So, the condition to abstain from wine/intoxication is not based upon logically proved advantages or disadvantages of wine but the obedience or disobedience of God Almighty.  Even then, Allah (SWT) has mentioned few disadvantages, if people do care about them.

Drinking wine is a matter of faith.  Unfortunately in Pakistan, it is not considered a sin at government, elite or any level.  Drinking wine is crime, only if poor people are hospitalized and report it to police.  Not even those who don’t drink wine talks about it.

الله اور اسکے رسول صلی الله علیہ وسلم کی قائم کو ہوئی حدود کو توڑنا گناہ کہلاتا ہے… انسانوں کے بناۓ ہوۓ قوانین کو توڑنا جرم کہلاتا ہے… اور جرم کی تعریف یہ رکھی ہے کہ وہ عمل جو دوسرے انسان کو نقصان پہنچاۓ یا اس کے ساتھ زبردستی اسکی مرضی کے خلاف کیا جاۓ… اور انسانوں کو نقصان پہنچنے اور زبردستی کرنے کے عمل کو ہی گناہ کا درجہ بھی دے دیا گیا ہے… اور یہ یقین بھی کر لیا گیا ہے کہ کل دین اور مقصد حیات یہی ہے…

شراب، زنا با الرضا، جوا، عریانی و فحاشی، سود، سور، مردار…. ذاتی پسند اور نا پسند ہے اور بنیادی حقوق…. جس کو برا لگے اپنی آنکھیں بند کر لے… الله سبحانہ و تعالی کی ذات اس سارے قصّے میں کہاں ہے… الله سے انسانوں کا تعلق صرف اتنا رہ گیا ہے کہ خدا انسان کی بغاوتوں کے باوجود بس دیتا ہی رہے اور انسان اسکے احکامات کی دھجیاں اڑاتا رہے… یہ اسکا ذاتی معاملہ ہے…

“اور تم سے پوچھتے ہیں حکم شراب اور جوۓ کا… تو کہو، ان میں گناہ بڑا ہے، اور فائدے بھی ہیں لوگوں کو… اور انکا گناہ فائدے سے بڑا ہے”… سوره البقرہ ٢١٩ 

“اے ایمان والو! یہ جو ہے شراب اور جوا اور بت اور پانسے، گندے کام ہیں شیطان کے، سو ان سے بچتے رہو، شاید تمہارا بھلا ہو”… سوره المائدہ ٩٠ 

“شیطان یہی چاہتا ہے، کہ ڈالے تم میں دشمنی اور بغض، شراب سے اور جوۓ سے، اور روکے تم کو الله کی یاد سے اور نماز سے، اور پھر اب تم باز آؤگے”…. سوره المائدہ ٩١

کئی سالوں سے آۓ دن کچی شراب اور زہریلی شراب کے پکڑے جانے کی خبریں سن سن کر تںگ آ گئی ہوں… شراب پکڑ لیتے ہیں، پی پلا کرانکی خالی بوتلیں چھوڑ دیتے ہیں… شراب والے ان میں شراب بھرکر دوبارہ بیچنا شروع کر دیتے ہیں… غریب اسے پیتے ہیں، ہسپتال جاتے ہیں اور اکثرمرجاتے ہیں… پولیس میں رپورٹ کرائی جاتی ہے… پولیس والے پھر شراب پکڑ لیتے ہیں… اور یہ سلسلہ چلتا رہتا ہے…. یہ کاروائی صرف غریبوں کے لئے ہوتی ہے جن کے دماغوں میں یہ بات بٹھا دی جاتی ہے کہ شراب غموں کو بھلا دیتی ہے… محبوب روٹھ گیا تو شراب پینا شروع کردو… بھئی ایک انسان گیا سو گیا، اس میں الله کے قوانین توڑنے کی کیا ضرورت ہے… حالات خراب ہیں شراب پینا شروع کردو… تو کیا اس سے حالات ٹھیک ہو جاتے ہیں…

ہاں امیروں کو کوئی اس لئے نہیں پکڑتا کیونکہ انہوں نے شراب کو حلال کر رکھا ہے… وہ شراب غموں کو بھلانے کے لئے نہیں بلکہ خوشیوں کا لطف بڑھانے کے لئے پیتے ہیں… بہت سوں کو یہ غیر مسلموں میں اپنا مقام اعلی بنانے کے لئے پینی پڑتی ہے… اور کچھ لوگوں کی فطرت ہوتی ہے کہ الله اور اس کے رسول صلی الله علیہ وسلم کی حدود توڑیں… اور پھر امیرامراء جس طرح بھی مریں، شراب کی عزت پر کوئی آنچ نہیں آنے دیتے، نہ اس کے خلاف پولیس میں رپورٹ کرتے ہیں… وہ شراب کی عزت کرتے ہیں اور پولیس انکی….

دیکھیں نہ سارے سیاستدان، حکمران، جرنیلز، اداکار، گلوکار، شاعر، فنکار، اعلی عہدیداران… کون ہے جو پاکستان میں شراب نہیں پیتا… انکی تو تصویریں بھی شراب پیتے ہوۓ اخباروں میں چھپ جائیں، ٹی وی پر آجائیں تب بھی انھیں کوئی فرق نہیں پڑتا کیونکہ اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان میں شراب امیروں کی عیّاشی ہے مجبوری نہیں… مزے کی بات کہ جو لوگ شراب نہیں پیتے یا پینا چھوڑ چکے ہیں وہ بھی دوسروں کے پینے کو برا نہیں سمجھتے اور نہ اسکے خلاف آواز اٹھاتے ہیں…

اگر کوئی ایک ایسا نکتہ ہے جہاں امیراورغریب ایک ہی جیسا رویہ اختیار کریں تو وہ ہے شراب… قرآن سے ثابت ہونے یا نہ ہونے کو تو الگ کر دیں… اگر انسان کی تہذیب اور نفاست کے تقاضوں کو ہی سامنے رکھ لیں تو کون نفیس انسان ایسا ہو گا جو گلی سڑی بدبودار چیز کو ہاتھ لگانا بھی پسند کرے گا… اور وہ بھی لطف لینے کے لئے… شراب پینا توخود ایک ذہنی اورنفسیاتی بیماری کی علامت ہی نہیں بلکہ اس آدمی یا عورت کے قوت ارادی کمزور ہونے کی نشانی بھی ہے…. کیونکہ گندگی اور غلاظت کو کھانے پینے والا کوئی نارمل آدمی یا عورت تو نہیں ہو سکتے… اس قسم کے کمزور ارادہ اور ذہنی بیمار لوگوں کو کسی بھی قسم کا عہدہ یا ذمہ داری کیسے دی جا سکتی ہے… یا ایسے لوگوں کی باتوں کا بھی کیا اعتبار کس نشے میں کی گئی ہوں… نشہ آور لوگ خود کو گناہ گار نہ سمجھیں تو ٹھیک لیکن آئین کے لحاظ سے قانون کے مجرم ہیں، چاہے وہ کوئی بھی نشہ ہو…

لیکن کس کس کو پکڑیں… زرداری، پرویز مشرف، شاہ محمود قریشی، بلاول زرداری، عتیقہ اوڈھو، وڈیرے، چودھری، سردار، جرنیلز، پرانے نۓ اداکار گلوکار شاعر وغیرہ وغیرہ… 

ایسے لوگوں کو انسانوں کے بنیادی حقوق تو دے جا سکتے ہیں، بنیادی احترام بھی کیا جا سکتا ہے، انکے ساتھ ملازمت اور کاروبار بھی کیا جا سکتا ہے… لیکن ان سے میل جول رکھنے، ساتھ مل بیٹھنے، وقت گذارنے کو کس کا دل چاہے گا… خیرامیروں کی حرکتوں سے تو الله سبحانہ و تعالی خود ہی نمٹ لیں گے… انکو تو ڈھیل ملی ہوئی ہے…

ہاں غریبوں کو رسول صلی الله علیہ وسلم اور صحابہ کرام کے قصّے سناۓ جا سکتے ہیں کہ ان پر تو کیا کیا گذرا لیکن انہوں نے الله کی حدود کو پامال نہیں کیا… لیکن آج ہم نے غربت کا معیار روٹی، کپڑے، مکان اور اختیار کا نہ ہونا رکھ دیا ہے… کوئی محنت کر کے دو روٹی کما ۓ تو اس پر اتنا ترس کھاتے ہیں کہ وہ اپنی کوششوں پر شرمندہ ہو جاۓ… اور سوچے کہ وہ دنیا کا ناکام ترین آدمی یا عورت ہےکیونکہ اسکے بچے برگر اور پیزا نہیں کھاتے، گاڑیوں میں نہیں پھرتے… انھیں یہ احساس دلاتے ہیں کہ با اختیار اور کامیاب لوگ وہ ہیں جن کے آگے پیچھے چارتعریفیں کرنے والے خوشامدی یا فینزہوں، انکے لئے ہزاروں لوگ نعرے لگائیں اور اپنی قیمتی زندگی قربان کرنے کا عہد کریں… انکی تقدیر بدلنے کے نام پر انکو لوٹیں… پتہ نہیں کونسے اختیار اور کونسے انصاف کا لالچ دیتے ہیں…

الله سبحانہ و تعالی سورہ الرعد میں فرماتے ہیں کہ…”بے شک دلوں کو اطمینان الله ہی کے ذکر سے ملتا ہے”…

اور پاکستان کے سیاست دان ظلم اور دہشت کا نظام لا کر اور لبرل لوگ قرآنی احکامات کے خلاف دلیلیں لا کر انسانوں کو اسی یاد سے دور کردینا چاہتے ہیں… حتی کہ دینی جماعتیں اپنے عالموں اور لیڈرز کو خدا سے آگے لے آتے ہیں… جبھی تو اتنی ایجادوں اور اتنی سہولتوں کے باوجود دلوں کو سکون میسر نہیں…

Sincerity is a Must

Abû Ruqayyah Tamîm b. `Aws al-Dârî relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Religion is Sincerity.”
We asked: “To whom, O Messenger of Allah?”
He said: “To Allah, His Book, His Messenger, and the leaders of the Muslims and to the common Muslim.” [Sahîh Muslim]

نہایت غصّہ آ رہا ہے جیو پر… تین گھنٹے “اک نظر میری طرف” دکھایا اور ڈرامہ ابھی بھی باقی ہے… حالانکہ پورے سیریل میں جو کام کے جملے ہیں وہ یا تو نعمان اعجازکی والدہ کا کردار ادا کرنے والی خاتون نے بولے ہیں یا پھر رضا نامی کردار نے جو کہ دو تین جگہ کہانی کا رخ موڑنے کا سبب بنے… خاص طور پر اپنے بڑے بھائی فارس سے یہ کہنا کہ “کیا مرد کی طرف  سے کسی عورت کو تحفظ دینے کے لئے نکاح کا پیغام دینا کیا اس عورت کی بدکرداری ظاہر کرتا ہے… اگرآپ منصف تھے تو صرف صفت کو گھر سے کیوں نکالا، مجھے بھی نکالتے، آپ اندر سے ہندو ہیں، آپ لوگوں نے صفت کو ستی کرنے کی کوشش کی، جب اس نے آواز اٹھائی تو آپ نے اس کے کردار پر الزامات لگا کر گھر سے نکال دیا، کاش آپ مسلمان ہوتے”… سچی پوچھیں تو اس لحاظ سے کم از کم کراچی کے مردوں میں تو کوئی بھی مسلمان نہیں لگتا… باقی قوموں کو کچھ کہتے ڈر لگتا ہے… ابھی حامد میر پر کیس بن چکا ہے… 

میرا اپنا ذاتی خیال ہے کہ اس ملک کو سب سے زیادہ ضرورت ہے اس مسکنیت سے نجات دلانے کی جس کو سیاستدانوں اور مولویوں نے ہماری شخصیت کا حصّہ بنا دیا ہے… مانگنا، ہاتھ پھیلانا… دوسری قوموں کے آگے گر جانے کی حد تک محبت جتانا… بغیرحالات کا جائزہ لئے خواہ مخواہ دنیا کو گا کے بتانا کہ “یہ ہم نہیں”… اور دنیا کونسی ہمارے اداکاروں، گلوکاروں کو اتنی اہمیت دیتی ہے کہ انکے گاۓ ہوۓ گانوں اور کہے ہوۓ دفاعی کلمات پراعتبار کرے… کیا کیا ہے انہوں نے… انٹرنیشنل آڈینس حاصل کرنا تو دور کی بات، اپنے ہی لوکل ویورز کھودۓ… 

قسم سے میں نے آج تک باہر ملکوں کے شوبزکے لوگوں کو اتنا ہاۓ ہوئی اورواویلا مچاتے نہیں دیکھا… مجھے تو یہ نہیں سمجھ آتا کہ ان میں خاص بات کیا ہے… کیا بہت زبانیں سیکھ کر دکھادیں، یا مفت میں ملک و قوم کے لئے کام کیا ایدھی کی طرح، یا پاکستان میں کوئی مثبت سماجی، روحانی، معاشی تبدیلی لا دی، یا فوجیوں کی طرح اپنی جانیں قربان کردیں…. پوری زندگی پتہ نہیں شراب اور کس کس حال میں رہتے ہیں… جب بیماریاں لگ جاتی ہیں تو اپیلیں لے کرآ جاتے ہیں…. جس طرح یہ محنت کرتے ہیں اسی طرح تمام لوگ اپنے اپنے شعبوں میں محنت کرتے ہیں، قربانیاں دیتے ہیں… ذرا باتیں تو سنیں چکنی چپڑی، ہنسی آتی ہے… گاڑی نہیں تھی تو اتنی مشکل سے لیکن سٹوڈیو وقت پر پنہچتے تھے… اور سخت سردی میں یہ سین فلمایا… سین کرواتے ہوۓ گر کر زخمی بھی ہوۓ پھر بھی نہیں گھبراۓ… اف، دن رات صبح شام، گھنٹوں شوٹنگ پر ہوتے ہیں، اتنی محنت کرنی پڑتی ہے… بیماربھی ہوں توجانا پڑتا ہے… ماں باپ راضی نہیں تھے، خاندان نے برامنایا پھر بھی ہمت نہیں ہاری… تعلیم بھی حاصل کی اور اداکاری یا گلوکاری بھی کی، بچوں کو بھی پالا… اپنے ملک کے لوگوں کی محبت میں اتنی محنت کی… میرے چاہنے والے کہتے ہیں کہ آپ ٹی وی پر نظر کیوں نہیں آتے… 

مجھ سمیت کون ہے جس نے اپنی زندگی میں اتنی محنت نہ کی ہوگی… سبھی کے ساتھ مشکلات آتی ہیں، گھر والے یا رشتہ دار مخالفت کرتے ہیں، سردی گرمی برسات کی پرواہ کیے بغیر محنت کرتے ہیں، ہمت نہیں ہارتے، اپنے آس پاس کے لوگوں کو ہنساتے ہیں، لوریاں اور گانے سناتے ہیں، دلاسہ دیتے ہیں، قربانیاں دیتے ہیں، زخمی ہوتے ہیں، بیماری میں بھی گھر کی فکر کرتے ہیں…. اورکسی کے باپ پر احسان تو نہیں کرتے کہ بس اب ہر چینل پر بیٹھے اپنی تعریفیں ہی گنواۓ چلے جارہے ہیں… اور دل اتنے چھوٹے کہ خود کہتے ہیں کہ “ہم تو بس عوام کی پذیرائی سے حوصلہ پاتے ہیں… عوام دیکھتی ہے تو ہم زندہ ہیں” یا رونے لگتے ہیں کہ ہاۓ عوام بھول گئی، ہاۓ ہمیں کوئی دیکھتا سنتا نہیں… اچھا اپنی کمائی تو ساری اڑا دیتے ہیں، دوسرے ملکوں جا کر بیٹھ گئے، سب عیش کر لئے… ہاں آخرعمرمیں روتے ہوۓ لوگوں کے سامنے آ جاتے ہیں ہاتھ پھیلاۓ… “الله کے نام پہ تعریف کردو، ہمارے پھٹے پرانے کارناموں کو یاد کرو، ہم بیمار ہیں، پیسے اڑا چکے ہیں، منصوبہ بندی کی نہیں تھی اس لئے علاج کرادو”… روتے رہیں گے کہ حکومت کچھ نہیں کرتی… الله نہ کرے حکومت کچھ کرے انکے لئے… اور یہ حکومت میں آ گۓ توجو بجٹ کا چورا بچتا ہے حکومتی اور سیاسی ڈاکوں کے بعد، وہ یہ لے جائیں گے، لوٹ کا مال ہے بھئی، جس کے ہاتھ لگے، جس کا زور چل جاۓ … اور مزید عیا شیاں کریں گے… ملک پھر بھی نہیں سدھرے گا کیونکہ عوام کو گانے بجانے میں لگا دیں گے اور فوج بے چاری اکیلی نمٹے گی دشمنوں سے… 

ویسے صحیح بات ہے نا… کوئی کتنا کما لے لیکن کرپشن سے زیادہ بد نیتی ہے کہ حکومت کے خزانے پر نظر رکھتے ہیں… یہ سوچتے ہی نہیں کہ بیت المال غریبوں اور ضرورت مندوں کا حق ہے… بس ہمیں مل جاۓ … اپناعیا شیوں میں اڑا دو، حکومت پر زور ڈال کردوسروں کا ہتھیا لو… 

بابا ہمیشہ کہتے ہیں… نیت ثابت، منزل آسان… اگر پاکستانی اپنی نیتیں بھی ٹھیک کر لیں تو اور بد نیتی سے بازرہیں تو بہت کچھ ٹھیک ہو سکتا ہے…

God is mine too!

I say Allah (SWT) is my Lord.  He created me a human.  He raised me in a geographically well-defined piece of land called Pakistan.  He taught me how to talk.  He listens to my prayers.  He supplies all the provisions to me.  He enables me to see dreams, think ideas and carry on with my plannings.  He consoles me when I have fears.  He condoles me when I lose myself and helps me retrieve my spirit.  He has promised me the Paradise if I be humble and fair.  Even if I am not and I fail in doing good, I still expect Him to be Merciful and Kind to me.  For He is free of all needs and I am completely dependent upon His mercy.  

Men have abandoned the house of Allah for me though, no place for me in the mosque….but they can’t stop me from worshiping Him and remembering Him.  

I don’t feel like I am puppet to men.  I don’t need to see things through their eyes and speak their words as I have my organs functioning properly.  I don’t need men to impose their religious rulings on me.  By the Grace of God, I am an average intellectual and have low IQ.  I can read Qur’an, understand it and if I want to I can consult men scholars.  I seek refuge in Allah from depending upon men like a slave.  AMEEN!

However, I do believe in good man-ship and if it exists then women should show some good women-ship to prove that ships do run on land.  LOL!

Just like Whoopi sang, “Nothing in the world can take me away from my God”…

Women in Pakistan are produced, raised and consumed like a commodity.  After one thousand four hundred and thirty three years of coming of Islam, still the two genders have no sense of equality for each other.  Okay, gender equality is a controversial topic in religion, but they should delivered the due rights to each other as a human being at least.  Even women look upon themselves as a service to men and then they complain their dominance.

Nature receives our words as commands and responds accordingly.  What women keep reminding girls and other women fills air as their desire.  

Women don’t realize that brainwashing girls through so-called words of wisdom and as a reinforcement to their duties in Islam encourages men to act like God.  

1) Women can’t live without men and all men behave same to just tolerate them and women will be rewarded Paradise.  This sounds like admonishing women that there is no justice for them in this world.  Their entry to Paradise is conditioned to tolerate men as a deity – the angered one.  This is like challenging the verses of Qur’an and disregarding the God’s words.

“Believers, men and women, are protectors of one another. They enjoin what is just and forbid what is evil. They observe regular prayer and practice regular charity, obey God and His messenger, and on them God will pour His mercy, for God is exalted in power and right. God has promised to believers, men and women, gardens under which we were supposed to dwell therein, beautiful mansions and garden of everlasting bliss, for the greatest bliss is the pleasure of God, that is the supreme”… Surah At-Taubah/The Repentance 71

“And one of His signs that He created for you, your mate from among yourselves that you may dwell in tranquility with them and He has put love and mercy between your hearts verily in that are the signs for those who reflect”… Surah Ar-Room/The Rome 21

“Treat them (women) politely for even if you dislike them, perhaps you dislike something which God has placed much good”… Surah An-Nisa/The Women 19

2) Women should cover themselves because their grandfather or father or brothers want them to or they shouldn’t do certain things because their men don’t want them to.  I think women should fear God Almighty more than their men at home.  This is just like replacing God by men in likes and dislikes.  It is Allah (SWT) who ordained the commandments and to Him we all are answerable.  So, men and women should submit themselves to God Almighty and not to each other.

3) Men know better than women.  This statement is still unproven religiously, scientifically and logically.  I think it was a set up in jealousy to put their wisdom aside.  In other words, it was invented to kill the better-half potential.  I don’t feel low with this non-sense.  

In fact, I feel proud when I read about how Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) valued his women.  He loved and respected Hazrat Khadijah because she was his companion in every high and low.  At Hudaibiyyah, he (pbuh) listened to his wife Umm-e-Salama’s advise and changed his attire and slaughtered the animal in order to convince his companions to do so.  He helped his wives at home.  He greeted them, smiled at them, played with them, joked with them.  No wonder his wives adored him.

4) Men have the right to make final decision.  They must consult with their women especially if it has something to do with their lives and then men can announce it as their final decision.  Isn’t it fair?

5) All women go through these trials so just leave everything to God, He will deal with men.  All I could understand from this, is that women are born to play no role except what is decided for them by men, no words of their own except the script handed over to them by elders, no action unless signaled by the directors around them.  Hell to that, this is so robotic.  If this is the case, women had been created as animals or birds or they had been made in factories.  God Almighty had not given them a mind to think, a conscious to understand and a will to obey or rebel. 

Which trials do women should tolerate – God-descended or man-made?  Has God allowed men to put women into trails and be the judge to their right and wrong?  The God I believe in would never allow any of His creation to play God to their fellows.

Let God deal with men and men deal with women – why not let men and women deal with each other and let God be the judge to both? – this is the teaching of Islam after all.

6) Women should tolerate injustice for the sake of their daughters otherwise the society won’t respect them and won’t accept them.  First of all, keep aiding such society with thoughts of demoralization  and expecting no barbarism and disasters is not Islam at all.  This is not wise at all to state prejudgments about society unless you face it personally otherwise it starts happening for real and then you have to face it.  Either by choice or compulsion, tolerance is an inability to resist in a certain situation.  It should not be preached as a habit or characteristic, otherwise it guarantees the rise of brutality.  That is why Qur’an introduced the law of “equal reaction” – an eye for an eye – and believe me it does not make the world blind but warns those who love to make the world blind.

Girls or women should worry more about God’s approval or disapproval for He is the true Lord, the Exalted One.

Allah (SWT) is not the deity unjust.  He created both men and women as humans.  His book is a guidance for both men and women.  He ordained laws to establish justice between the two genders so they can lead a peaceful life for their generations.  

Women need to develop humanity in them, for themselves.  They need to remove the concept of men’s supremacy on them.  They don’t need to pretend so naive that they can’t retaliate an attack or can’t take any revenge.  Taking revenge or seeking justice is as lawful for them as it is for men.  They don’t need to be biased but it is their right to know their rights.  They must find out how their Lord Almighty addresses to them in Qur’an.  The verses of justice in Qur’an are for both men and women.  Women don’t need to rely upon men to tell them about their duties and their status.  That is because men will not be the judge on the Day of Judgment.  They will be standing beside us waiting for accountability.

Who is the most kind and the wisest?

The purpose is of this writing is not to pass any judgement on anyone.  This is just another tiny effort to look into the mirror of Islamic doctrine and see how many scars are left there on heart and soul.

There are 114 surahs in Qur’an and each except one (Surah At-Taubah/The Repentance) begins with the acknowledgement of God’s attributes “In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent/Compassionate, The Merciful”.  The same statement is mentioned once in Surah An-Namal/The Ants, when Prophet Sulaiman/Solomon uses the same words to begin with in a letter to the Queen of Sheba.

The same Quran mentions Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as the mercy for all the worlds Allah (SWT) has created.  Each and every moment of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)’s life is an evidence to prove this claim to be true and certainly it has everything to do with his character.  “We have sent you but as the mercy for all worlds”… Surah Al-Anbiya 107

The words of Qur’an and the life of Prophet (pbuh) are beautiful combination of moral laws and court laws – together they are called ‘shariah’/the Islamic code of law.  Any Muslim having a doubt and then preaching it as a defect of Islam, such as ruling on two women as a witness against one man or four marriages for men and only one for woman, is considered a ‘kafir’, which literally means the one who rejects or denies.  So, the word ‘kafir’ shouldn’t be used to for non-Muslims.

Allah (SWT) says in Qur’an, “ And there are, certainly, among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), those who believe in Allah and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before Allah. They do not sell the Verses of Allah for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. Surely, Allah is Swift in account.  O you who believe! Endure and be more patient (than your enemy), and guard your territory by stationing army units permanently at the places from where the enemy can attack you, and fear Allah, so that you may be successful.”…. (Surah Aal-e-Imran/The Family of Imran 199/200)

Islam has introduced a very balanced and flexible life-style.  The exceptions and limitations in obligations are already set by the Shariah and they are termed as “hudood or hudood-Allah” in Quran.  Similarly, the Shariah has outlined the emotional expressions prohibiting extremism and exaggeration.

For example, a strong belief in our society about God is that there are no limits for glorifying Allah Almighty.  Yes, there are.  Allah (SWT) has specified how to and when to remember Him formally on daily and yearly basis, i.e. salah/prayer and Hajj/pilgrimage to Makkah.  However, there are no time limit and conditions to communicate with Him for any reason.  He Almighty is awake and present all the time.

Be wild in anger, be crazy in excitement, be pessimist in sadness, be disappointed in trials,  be haughty in richness, be silent for witness, be a support in false accusations, be overjoyed in celebrations, etc. —  this is how life events are dealt in our society, by showing extreme behaviour and this is prohibited in Islam.

Sometimes, people don’t realize that they are acting as they are wiser than Allah (SWT) and prophets.  They do violate the limits of Shariah and then defend themselves and justify their actions by giving lame excuses.  Who do they try to satisfy, God, people around us or themselves?

There are lots of things that we do and we can say that we do them because we like them.  There are many things that we don’t do and we can say that we don’t do them because we don’t like them.  We can simply say that I do this or I don’t do this because this is how understood the religion.  This is better than manipulating religious principles.  This is not wise to corrupt the religion and create complications for others by wrong interpretations of Islamic moral values.

This intentional or unintentional corruption in religion develops a guilt in mind.  This guilt often transforms into an extra-ordinary feeling of kindness and sympathy to others and is exhibited by charity work.  Those who are involved in breaking the system or if not breaking, not building the system usually rejoice themselves by feeding, helping, educating hungry and needy people at large scale.  This is one way to kill that guilt.

In the same manner, people exaggerate while consoling, condoling, grieving, describing, explaining and even guiding.  We mourn for weeks, months and years.  They exaggerate while praising sacred prophets, saints, leaders, heroes, elders, family dynasty, etc.  This exaggeration turns into controversies and contentions and finally leads to physical combats.

Sometimes people unknowingly try to pretend that they are more kind than God Almighty and His prophets.  They have more sympathies with rapists, robbers, adulterers and murderers than with the victims.    Forgiveness has its own conditions.  Forgiveness is when exercised unnecessarily to the wrong people, it benefits the criminal minds only. Only God Almighty has the right to forgive whoever He wills for any or no reason.

Sometimes people behave like they have more ego and temperament than God Almighty and His prophets.  Mostly men try this on women, elders on youngsters, rich on poor, smart on naive.  Raising voice for rights, for choice is also considered a matter of ego.  The Arabic word ‘ana’ meaning ‘I’ with the thought of completeness and absolute powers suits only to God Almighty.

I was just thinking that if Edhi, Ansar Burni Trust and other legitimate charity organizations have established as parallel to the government institutions, why don’t they join together and really make one for the sake of this country.  Edhi’s team works more like a ‘baitul-maal’.  Sarim Burni’s team plays Supreme Court in addition to police and detectives.  Shoukat Khanum Memorial Hospital’s team along with Dr. Adeeb Rizvi and many others can run the best health ministry in the world.  There are many educational institutions like Namal that can replace the board of education in all four provinces and adjacent territories.  Those who are making world records can be the best to deal with foreign affairs.

Who cares who sits in the President House!  People can choose Dr. A. Q. Khan or Justice Wajeehuddin or any other smart, honest and patriot man as a guide and leader.

Unemployed youth can head towards the villages and farms to help farmers to grow more and more food.  You know why, because food is most essential in all necessities.  They can even train themselves as a substitute to law enforcement bodies.  We are missing them any way.

People of Pakistan are a government, then why let the criminals and incompetents draw salaries from assemblies and make others beg for what they deserve?

Working Women

Women in Pakistan have their representation in almost every field of life.

The common or low-paid women are not recognized as an employee.  There no laws to protect their rights – type of work suitable to their physical structure, proper salary, flexible hours, their children’s education, etc.

This is their greatness that regardless of all poor conditions, they still prefer to earn money a dignified way and that is by hard work.

Man vs The Invisible – انسان بمقابلہ غیبی مخلوقات

Thousands of people in the world do not believe in the things or beings that cannot be perceived by five senses.  This theory seldom leads to the denial of God’s existence.  But then how would people believe in ideas, thoughts and imaginations – they are also imperceptible by five senses.

In Islam, Qur’an only talks about the existence of genies (jinns) and soul or spirit (rooh) among invisible beings.  Many religious scholars take this as an evidence to deny the rest of invisible creatures.  But then what would they say about the fossils of dinosaurs, the prehistoric creatures – Qur’an doesn’t talk about them either.

According to Islamic beliefs, after death, the souls of righteous people are welcomed by the angles guarding the doors or limits of the first sky (heaven) and are kept somewhere between first and the second sky in a gathering called “Rafiqul-alaa/The gathering of exalted people”.  The souls of sinners or disbelievers are sent back to the earth where they wander in search of a body to live in or hide themselves in dark, non-airy, quiet places.  Thus, those places become haunted.  Other invisible evil creatures either of their own form or from genies may join them too.  They frighten people so they stay away from their dwellings.

Genies do live among people but invisible evil creatures avoid human interaction.  They only harass humans when they pass by or resist when humans try to reveal them or control them. They only attack individuals and not a group.  Sometimes people settle a town and construct buildings and houses in haunted areas.  This makes them furious and they start terrorizing the residents so they move out.  They do not pass through walls and enter by doors or open entrances.  They avoid sunlight, stay in dark and appear at night.  They can jump on someone who is sleeping straight (not on sides) and enter the body, this jerks the body for a second.  They also control people who live dirty, impure and sinning.

Genies and evil spirits don’t try to harm human unless they are being attacked, annoyed or disturbed.  Those (genies and other evil spirits) that are bound to an evil commitment to sorcery or witchcraft, wait to enter the victim’s body until he/she loses the senses, such as an extreme emotional condition of happiness, madness, anger, fear, depression, hopelessness or sadness.  Until then they hold on to back and shoulders.  They create situations which encourage their victims to commit suicide.  That is why Islam forbids to show extremism in expressions and relations.

The creatures (good or bad) who capture a human because of any reason (such as beauty, eloquence or melody) are very powerful and hard to get rid of than those who are sent on a mission as a result of magic.

 

دنیا میں لاکھوں انسانوں کا یہ خیال ہے کہ جو چیزیں انسان کے حواس خمسہ سے ثابت نہ ہوں انکا کوئی وجود نہیں ہوتا… یہی نظریہ بہت سے لوگوں کے لئے خدا کے وجود سے انکار کا سبب بھی بنا ہے… باقی بحث تو چھوڑ دیں… لیکن اگر صرف اس خیال پر زندگی کی بنیاد رکھ دی جاۓ کہ جو نظر نہ آۓ، جو سنائی نہ دے، جسے چھوا نہ جا سکے، جسے چکھا نہ جا سکے، جسے سونگھا نہ جا کے… اس کا وجود نہیں… تو پھر انسان شاید دنیا میں کچھ بھی بھی کرنے کے قابل نہ رہے… کیونکہ خیالات، نظریات، تصورات، تشبیہات وہ چیزیں ہیں جو حواس خمسہ سے ثابت نہیں کی جا سکتیں…

 جن، دیو، بھوت، آسیب، سایہ، پری، چڑیل… یہ ہر چینل پر جو جنوں بھوتوں پر تحقیقاتی پروگرامز کیے جا رہے ہیں… عقل سے کام لیں… انسانوں کے علاوہ بھی جو مخلوق ہیں وہ مذاق نہیں ہیں… انسانوں پر نظر رکھے ہوتی ہیں… جب سے دنیا بنی ہے، اربوں انسان پیدا ہوکر مرچکے ہیں… اسلامی عقیدے کے مطابق اچھی ارواح تو آسمان پر ‘رفیق الاعلی’ سے جا ملتی ہیں اور سنا ہے کہ قیامت تک وہیں رہتیں ہیں… ‘رفیق الا اعلی’ کے بارے میں سنا ہے کہ یہ پہلے آسمان یا دنیاوی آسمان کے اوپر یعنی پہلے اور دوسرے آسمان کے بیچ میں کوئی جگہ ہے… اس کا مطلب یہ ہوا کہ انسان کے جسم کو ہوا یا فضا کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے زندہ رہنے کے لئے، روح کو نہیں… جبکہ گناہ گار روحیں، بد روحوں کی شکل میں آسمان سے دھتکار دی جاتی ہیں اور وہ زمین پر بھٹکتی پھرتی ہیں… نہ صرف یہ بلکہ انہیں رہنے کے لئے جسم کی تلاش ہوتی ہے… اور یہ بھی سنا ہے کہ جادوگر اورعامل ٹائپ لوگ انھیں بلا کر قابو کر لیتے ہیں یا استعمال کرتے ہیں… والله اعلم با الصواب…

کچھ عالم دلیل کے طور پر کہتے ہیں کہ قرآن میں جن چیزوں کا ذکرہے ان کا وجود تو ہے… اور جن چیزوں کا ذکر قرآن میں نہیں ہے یا احادیث میں نہیں ہے، ان کا وجود نہیں… یا تو وہ ذہنی بیماری کا نتیجہ ہیں یا پھرصرف خیالات……… لیکن پھرقرآن میں تو ڈائناسارز کا ذکر بھی نہیں ہے… وہ بھی تو حقیقت بن کر سامنے آگۓ… انسانوں اور جنوں سے پہلے کی مخلوقات ہیں وہ… لیکن قرآن تو جنوں سے پہلے کسی مخلوق کی بات ہی نہیں کرتا…

اگر تو وہ خیالات بھی ہیں یا پھر جنوں کا ہی کوئی روپ، تب بھی حقیقت میں تو پریشانی کا ہی باعث بنتے ہیں… انکے باطنی اور ظاہری اثرات ہوتے ہیں… یہ اس درد، بھوک یا پیاس کی طرح ہوتے ہیں جو دیکھنے والوں، بات کرنے والوں کو، ساتھ رہنے والوں کو نظرنہیں آتا… صرف اسی کو محسوس ہوتا ہے جس کے ہو… 

اور اگر وہ صرف خواب ہیں تو کیا خواب نشانیاں، علامات، تنبیہ یا بشارت نہیں ہوتے؟… پھر تو خوابوں پر بھی یقین رکھنا چھوڑ دیں…

اے آر وائی والوں کو شاید سمجھ آگئی ہو، دیکھ لی انکی طاقت… شائستہ واحدی صاحبہ کو شاید اس لئے کچھ نہیں ہوا کہ ان کے ساتھ، یا تھوڑے فاصلے پر دعائیں پڑھتے ہوۓ عالم موجود تھے… اور ویسے بھی ایسی چیزیں گروہ یا جماعت کو تنگ نہیں کرتیں بلکہ اکیلے شخص پر اپنا زور آزماتی ہیں… دوسری بات جو انہوں نے کی کہ قبرستان میں کچھ نہیں ہوتا اور وہاں سکوں سے بیٹھ کر پڑھا بھی جا سکتا ہے… دوسرے ملکوں میں قبرستان سلیقے اور صفائی سے بنے ہوتے ہیں، وہاں حالانکہ وہاں غیرمسلم دفن ہوتے ہیں لیکن وحشت نہیں ہوتی… وہاں تو یہ تصور ہو سکتا ہے کہ کوئی قبرستان میں جا کر کتاب لکھ پڑھ لے…… پاکستان میں جہاں کلمہ گو اور جنت کے حقدار دفن ہیں، ذرا کوئی دن میں جاکر دکھاۓ… میں خوف کی بات نہیں کر رہی… وحشت کی بات کر رہی ہوں…

اچھی مخلوق چاہے انسان ہوں، حیوان ہوں یا غیبی یعنی نہ دکھنے والی چیزیں، ان سے کسی کو کوئی نقصان نہیں، یہ سب اپنی اپنی ڈائمینشنز میں کام کرتے رہتے ہیں اور کوئی فورمل انٹرایکشن سے انہیں نقصان نہیں پنہچتا… یہ ایک دوسرے کو پہچانتے بھی ہیں، ہمدرد بھی ہوتے ہیں اور ایک دوسرے کی مدد بھی کرتے ہیں… جیسے کہ رسول الله صلی الله علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ “ہڈیاں اور گوبر تمھارے جن بھائیوں کی غذا ہیں”… رسول الله صلی الله علیہ وسلم کے اس فرمان کے مطابق کیا ہمارا فرض نہیں بنتا کہ ہڈیوں اور گوبر کا ڈسپوزل بھی صحیح طریقے سے کریں؟…

آسیب، بدروح، سایہ… بری اور شیطانی مخلوق چاہے انسان ہوں، حیوان ہوں یا نہ دکھائی دینے والی چیزیں، ان سے بچنے کی، ہوشیار رہنے کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے… کیونکہ انکا مقصد ہی نقصان، فساد اور بربادی ہوتا ہے… انسانوں میں سے کچھ انتہائی بری قسمیں یعنی جادوگر، عامل وغیرہ ٹائپ اور باقی شیطانی مخلوق کی تقریبا ملتی جلتی عادتیں ہوتی ہیں… جیسے کہ یہ اندھیری اور محبوس یعنی ایسی جگہوں پر رہتے ہیں جہاں تازہ ہوا کا گزر نہ ہو یا پھر گندگی اور کوڑے پر…

خود سے یا ساری مخلوقات انسان کو مارنے کی یا شدید قسم کا نقصان پنہچانے کی کوشش نہیں کرتیں بلکہ انسانوں سے دور رہتی ہیں…

اگر جادوگرجنوں یا ان مخلوقات کو کسی شخص کو جان سے مارنے کا حکم دے تو پھر یہ اس شخص کو خود کشی کی طرف راغب کرتے ہیں… اور اس کے آس پاس کے ماحول میں ایسے حالات پیدا کر دیتے ہیں کہ وہ صرف مرنے کی سوچے… مثال کے طور پرمالی نقصان، گھر کے لوگوں میں لڑائیاں، نفرتیں، تنہائی، عبادت سے دوری، وغیرہ…

وہ مخلوقات چاہے اچھی ہوں یا بری، جو خود کسی انسان کے پیچھے لگ جائیں، بہت طاقتورہوتی ہیں اور ان سے پیچھا چھڑانا بہت مشکل ہوتا ہے کیونکہ یہ اپنی طاقت کے بل پر قابو پاتی ہیں… ان کے مقابلے میں جو جادوئی عمل کے ذریعے بھیجی جاتی ہیں، انھیں بھگایا بھی جا سکتا ہے اور ختم بھی کیا جا سکتا ہے، کیونکہ یہ ایک غلامی کی کیفیت میں کسی کے احکامات کی پابند ہوتی ہیں اور اپنی مرضی سے اپنی طاقت استعمال نہیں کر سکتیں… اسی لئے اسلام نے انسانوں کو غلامی سے نجات کا راستہ دکھایا…

شیطانی مخلوقات سورج ڈوبنے کے ساتھ ساتھ زور پکڑنا شروع کر دیتی ہیں… اندھیرا انکی طاقت ہوتا ہے… سورج کی روشنی میں یہ کمزور پڑجاتے ہیں… اسی طرح بجلی کے بلبز کی روشنی بھی انکو تکلیف دیتی ہے… گھروں اور عمارتوں کے بھی کونوں میں سمٹ جاتے ہیں یا باتھ رومز انکا ٹھکانا ہوتے ہیں… چین میں جو گول عمارتیں بنائی جاتی تھیں انکے پیچھے بھی ایک نظریہ یہ تھا کہ شیطانی ارواح اس میں داخل نہیں ہو سکتیں یا اپنا ٹھکانا نہیں بنا سکتیں… مسجدوں میں بھی گنبد اور کوئی حصّہ گولائی میں ہوتا ہے… کراچی میں ابھی بھی کہیں پرانے گھر وغیرہ ہیں، ان میں دیکھیں تو ڈرائنگ روم یا عام کمرے کی ایک دیوار یا ایک حصّہ گولائی میں ہوتا ہے اور وہ کمرہ نسبتا ٹھنڈا ہوتا ہے… کیوں کہ گولائی کی وجہ سے ایک تو ہوا سرکیولیٹ ہوتی ہے جبکہ کونے ہوا کو بلاک کر دیتے ہیں… دوسرے شیطانی چیزوں کو، جو کہ گرم دھوئیں یا ہوا سے بنی ہیں، رکنے کا موقعہ نہیں ملتا… اور ہوا میں تو ہم ہر وقت سانس لے رہے ہیں… اسی لئے عالم اور عامل پڑھا ہوا پانی کونوں میں چھڑکنے کو کہتے ہیں یا پھونک مارنے کو کہتے ہیں…

انکے بارے میں جو اب تک مختلف عالموں اور لوگوں نے تحقیقات کی ہیں وہ یہ ہیں کہ یہ شیطانی چیزیں جو بھی ہیں اور جو بھی انکے نام ہیں، انکے کچھ اصول ہوتے ہیں…

.

یہ عموما اکیلے شخص پر حملہ کرتی ہیں، کسی گروہ پر یا دو تین لوگوں پر نہیں… شاید اسی لئے پہلے زمانے کے بزرگ اکیلے جانے سے منع کرتے تھے…

.

گھر میں یا گھر کے اندر کمروں میں دروازوں سے یا کھلی جگہوں سے داخل ہوتی ہیں، دیواروں سے نہیں… اسی لئے بزرگ دروازہ کے سامنے سونے سے یا کھلے حصّوں کے راستے میں سونے سے منع کرتے تھے… کیونکہ وہ انکی گزرگاہ ہوتی ہیں… بلکہ نیک مخلوق کی بھی…

جن تو آبادیوں میں رہتے ہیں… مگر دوسری مخلوق عموما انسانوں کی آبادیوں سے دوررہتے ہیں… یہ خود انسانوں کےعلاقوں میں نہیں آتے…بلکہ اگر انسان ان تک پنہچ جائیں تو انکو تنگ کرتے ہیں… 

ایسا بھی ہوتا ہے کہ جن سنسان علاقوں میں یہ رہتے ہیں وہاں آبادیاں قائم ہوجاتی ہیں… لوگ ان کی جگہوں پر گھراورعمارتیں بنا لیتے ہیں… جس پر انکو غصّہ ہوتا ہے… کیوں کہ ان آباد ہونے والوں میں ہر قسم کے لوگ ہوتے ہیں… بہت سے قرآن اور دعائیں بھی پڑھتے ہیں جو کہ ان مخلوق کے لئے تکلیف کا باعث بنتے ہیں… یہ اپنی جگہیں نہیں چھوڑتے اور انسانوں کو تنگ کرنا شروع کر دیتے ہیں…

جب تک انکو موقع نہ ملے یا موقع نہ دیا جاۓ یہ کسی کے جسم میں داخل نہیں ہوتیں… جن موقعوں کی انہیں خود تلاش ہوتی ہے وہ ہیں، انتہائی خوف کا عالم، قہقہہ مار کر یا انتہائی خوشی کا عالم، انتہائی غم اور رونے پیٹنے کا عالم یا پھرانتہائی غصّے کاعالم… مطلب ایسا حال کہ جس میں انسان اپنے ہوش و حواس میں نہ ہو اورکسی بھی آس پاس کے اثرات کہ تحت فیصلہ کرے… اسلام نے تو ویسے بھی انتہائی رویوں یا شدت پسندی سے منع فرمایا ہے… اور ذرا سوچیں تو شاید یہی وجہ ہو شراب سے دور رہنے کی…

یہ چیزیں اکثر سیدھا سونے والوں پر بھی چھلانگ لگا کرجسم میں داخل ہو جاتی ہیں…

گندگی، ناپاکی اور گناہ کے کام بھی ان مخلوقات کے پیچھے لگ جانے کا سبب بنتے ہیں…

شیطانی خصوصیات اور مخلوقات پورے چاند کی تاریخوں میں بھی زور پکڑتی ہیں… 

.

جب عامل اور جادوگرجنوں کوقابو کرکے کسی کو تنگ کرنے، مارنے یا اذیت دینے کا کام سونپتے ہیں تو پھر یہ پابند ہو جاتے ہیں اورموقعوں کی تلاش میں لگ جاتے ہیں… کبھی گھر کے کسی شخص کی آواز میں اپنے شکار کا نام پکارتے ہیں… کبھی کیڑے مکوڑوں کی شکل میں اچانک ظاہرہو کر خوفزدہ کرتے ہیں… کبھی خوابیدہ حالت میں عجب شکل یا حرکتوں سے پریشان کرکے نیند خراب کرتے ہیں… کبھی گھرمیں کھانوں یا دوسری اشیا کو خراب کر کے، بدبودارکرکے، بے جگہ کرکے پریشان کرتے ہیں…عموما یہ پیچھے گردن اور کندھوں پر سوار رہتے ہیں… 

جسم میں خود سے یا کسی جادوئی اثر کے ذریعے سے داخل ہو جائیں تو اکثر اس شخص کو آس پاس کے لوگوں سے دور کرنے کے لئے اس کے جسم میں شدید بدبو بھی پیدا کر دیتی ہے…

جادو ہو یا آسیب یا سایہ یا کوئی اور چیز… یہ روح اور جسم، دونوں پر اثرانداز ہو سکتے ہیں اور روحانی اور جسمانی بیماریوں میں مبتلا کر سکتے ہیں… کسی جادوگر یا عامل کے ذریعے کیے گۓ جادو کے اثرات کو مختلف طریقوں سے ختم کیا جاتا ہے… پڑھے ہوۓ پانی کو پینا یا چھڑکنا، پینے کے تعویذ، پہننے کے تعویذ، قرآنی آیات، دعائیں، جلانے کے لئے فریضے، دھونی، وغیرہ وغیرہ… جو چیزیں خود سے پیچھے لگ جائیں، ان کا علاج مختلف بھی ہو سکتا ہے…

لوگ اکثر جمعرات کو اگر بتی جلاتے ہیں… بہت سے عامل اورعالم اپنی بنائی ہوئی خاص اگر بتیاں بھی جلانے کے لئے دیتے ہیں… ایک کثیر تعداد اگربتیوں کو فضول سمجھتی ہے اور کچھ اسے خوشبو کے لئے جلاتے ہیں…

اگر بتیاں جن اشیا سے بنتی ہیں ان میں خوشبو اور دھواں ایسا ہوتا ہے جو شیطانی مخلوقات کے لئے تکلیف کا باعث بنتا ہے… جن تو گرم دھوئیں سے تخلیق کیے گئے ہیں… باقی بھی ایک ٹھوس جسم کی صورت میں موجود نہیں ہوتی بلکہ ہوا میں شامل ہوتی ہیں… لہٰذا اگربتی کا دھواں ہوا میں پھیل کرانکو پریشان کرتا ہے اور وہ وہاں سے ہٹ جاتی ہیں…

ہرعالم اور ہرعامل، ہرقسم کی غیبی مخلوق کے ایکسپرٹ نہیں ہوتے… اور نہ ہی ہرعالم اور ہر عامل، ہرقسم کے روحانی علاج کر سکتے ہیں… بہت سے عامل یا عالم علاج کرنے کے چکر میں اپنے تجربات بھی کرنا شروع کر دیتے ہیں… اور کبھی کبھی لوگ بھی ایک ہی وقت میں دو دو تین تین عاملوں یا عالموں سے علاج کرانا شروع کردیتے ہیں… جس سے انکے عملیات آپس میں ٹکرا جاتے ہیں… اور علاج کرنے اور کرانے والے، دونوں کو نقصان ہو سکتا ہے… بہت سے عالم یا عامل علاج کا بھاری معاوضہ بھی لیتے ہیں… کوئی کوئی علاج کرنے والے کی مرضی پر چھوڑ دیتے ہیں اور کوئی ایسے بھی ہیں جوصرف ان چیزوں کا خرچ لیتے ہیں جو علاج کے لئے چاہیئں… ایک یا دو ہی ایسے ہونگے جو بغیر کسی معاوضے کےعلاج کردیں…

ان شیطانی چیزوں میں سے کچھ اتنی طاقتور ہوتی ہیں کہ اگر ان سے قوت اور زبردستی کی جاۓ تو وہ غصّے میں تباہی مچا دیتی ہیں، اس شخص کو بھی نقصان پنہچاتی ہیں جس پر وہ ہیں اور علاج کرنے والے کو بھی برباد کر دیتی ہیں… کچھ نرم علاج سے ہی قابو آجاتی ہیں یا جان چھوڑ دیتی ہیں… 

.

روحانی یا جسمانی علاج جس قسم کا بھی ہو… اور جس بھی قسم کے اثرات ہوں، کچھ چیزیں ہرحال میں فائدہ مند ہوتی ہیں اور انکے لئے کسی عالم کی اجازت کی ضرورت نہیں… مثلا آیت الکرسی، سوره یٰسین اور درود… آیت الکرسی تو ویسے ہی ہر نماز کے بعد پڑھتے ہیں، ڈرخوف یا مصیبت میں تین یا سات یا گیارہ مرتبہ یا جتنی بار ہو سکے، پڑھ لیتے ہیں… سوره یٰسین بھی رات یا صبح یا مغرب کے بعد اکثر تلاوت کی جاتی ہے… اور درود تو ہے ہی ٹھنڈک کی نشانی، اس کے فائدے بے شمار اور نقصان ایک بھی نہیں… کتنی مرتبہ پڑھیں کوئی پابندی بھی نہیں… 

البتہ قرآنی وظائف کے لئے اجازت ضروری ہے کیوں کہ قرآن کے الفاظ کے مختلف اثرات ہوتے ہیں اگر انھیں قرات یا تلاوت کے بجاۓ وظیفہ بنا لیا جاۓ…

اسی طرح مسنون دعائیں بھی بہترین حفاظت ہیں… لیکن بہت سے کلمات کا وظیفہ کرنے سے پہلے کسی عالم سے مشوره ضرور کر لیں…

تین مرتبہ صبح شام یا رات کو ایک تسبیح – لا حَولَ وَلا قُوَّةَ اِلَّا بِاللهِ  یعنی نہیں طاقت (نیکی کرنے کی اور بدی سے بچنے کی) سواۓ الله (کی مدد) کے …

تین مرتبہ صبح شام – اَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّآمَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ  یعنی پناہ مانگتا/مانگتی ہوں ہر پیدا کی گئی چیز کی برائی سے…

ایک تسبیح یا جتنی مرتبہ پڑھ لیں – سُبحَانَ اللهِ وَ بِحَمدِهِ سُبحَانَ اللهِ العَظِيمِ

ہرکام سے پہلے  بِسمِ اللهِ الرَّحمنِ الرَّحِيمِ  پڑھنا اور اکثر اس کی تسبیح کرنا انتہائی فائدہ مند ہے اور اس کے سواۓ خیر کے کوئی اثرات نہیں ہوتے…

اللهُ اللهُ رَبِي لَا اُشرِكُ بِهِ شَيْأً  یعنی الله الله میرا رب ہے، میں اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہیں کرتی/کرتا… اکثر پریشانی میں پڑھنا بہت فائدہ مند ہوتا ہے…

Haya – Life and Modesty

Once Arabs were a society that was indulged in adultery, vulgarity and great sins.  Pagans of Makkah were rude, uncivilized, barbaric, cheaters, liars, abusive and obscene.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), a person from the same society, diverted them towards piety, purity, modesty, simplicity and goodness.  He did not curse pagan’s faith, did not criticize their rituals, never raised his eye-brows and changed his voice harsh against their immodest activities, never confined himself to his beloveds, never refuses to help those who hated him.  He never stampeded on streets to terrorize Makkans with the power of his anger, except at the time of victory of Makkah, such a unique incident when he invaded the city with peace and forgiveness.

He was a socially developed person by nature; full of wisdom, admirer of beauty and pleasure, a symbol of grace and modesty/haya, confident in himself and smiling to people.  He knew how to and when to communicate with people.  He openly declared that he loves three things the most and those were perfume, salah and women (he did not use the name of any relationship).  And what he said, he always meant.

Haya/modesty is an inevitable part of Muslims’ faith, both men and women.  It is also categorized as one of the prophetic attributes.  With the root letters ‘ha and ya’, it literally means ‘life’ in Arabic.  In religious terms, it has been described as covering body (practice the ruling of sitr/body parts that should be covered), shyness (lower gaze/extreme softness), chastity (staying away from sex related activities), timidity (lack of confidence/not so sure), modesty (a moderate behaviour/simplicity/humbleness).  Haya is not a culture or tradition.  Haya is not a gender-based characteristic.  Haya requires not to shut women inside their houses and their disconnection to God’s world.

Beside its literal meanings, the most suitable word for ‘haya’ in English is ‘modesty’.  Allah (SWT) created the world with balance.  “He has set up the Balance (of Justice),  In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance.  So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.” Surah Ar-Rahman/The Most Compassionate.  God brought universe into existence with balance (equilibrium, harmony, limits, due proportion, moderation).  The balance, with above synonyms, ensures life, not in span but in quality.  This entire surah describes the diversity of things working in their own limitations, which Allah (SWT) mentions as “the blessings from your Lord” and He orders us not to destroy it.

“And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness.  And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.  And the moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old dried curved date stalk.  It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit.”  Surah Yaseen.

Prophet Muhammad (pubh) said, “Haya/modesty does not bring but goodness.”  He is right.  A humble, moderate, pure and simple behaviour causes nothing but beauty, pleasure and relaxation.  The way he ate, drank, walked, talked, greeted people, welcomed his opponents, treated animals, cheered children, respected women, helped the needy, behaved at home, led campaigns (both preaching and political), fought battles, treated prisoners, imposed laws, told stories, tolerated enmity, settled disputes, explained Qur’an, delivered sermons, ruled Madinah, ran the government – all reveal the secrets of his extraordinary, unique, short-time success in driving people towards piety, purity, modesty, simplicity and goodness.

So in general, haya is a process of knowing your own limitations and letting others (diversities) live and work in their specified boundaries/hudood.  Qur’an has warned us at many places not to break the limits that Allah (SWT) has ordained on every Muslim.  Haya is used in Urdu in the meanings of limitations too, such as, ‘haya karo, masjid main kharay ho ker jhoot boltay ho…. kuch to haya kur, maan baap se is tarah baat kertay hain…. oye haya kur, is ne teray liye bohat qurbaniyyan di hain….. koi haya nahi, jo munh main ataa hay buk deta/deti hay…. oye haya ker, Allah ka khata hay aur Allah ki na farmani kerta hay…. etc.

The world right now is under the process of globalization, all countries under one flag, the whole world population under unified system – many evil powers have imposed wars in order to control the entire globe.  It is only Islam which is worthy of being the ruling power of the world because it is based on characteristics and merit.  People of the world are looking for solutions to their problems and what Muslims are showing them is anger, fire, hatred to their beloved days.

George Bernard Shaw said, “If any religion had the chance of ruling over England, nay Europe within the next hundred years, it could be Islam.  I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him – the wonderful man and in my opinion for from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Savior of Humanity.  I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today.”

Jamat-e-Islami announced to observe ‘Yom-e-Haya’ meaning ‘the modesty day’ on 14th February.

Christians have their reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day on 14th February.  Just like Muslims celebrate their own occasions with their own understanding.  For Muslims, if everyday is a mother’s day, father’s day, sister and brother’s day, teacher’s day, when what could be the reason for observing ‘haya’ on one day.  Haya should also be practiced everyday.  It is not just Valentine’s Day which non-Islamic.  Jahez, rape, infanticide, birthdays, Happy New Year parties, mayon and mehndi, prostitution in every neigbourhood, drug, illiteracy (inability to read and write), beggary, standing and cheering on the body of dead animals, cows and goats eating from garbage, cats and dogs wandering in search of food,  also fall into this category.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said,  ”Cursed be everyone who causes harm to a believer or schemes against him.”

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “No believer may humiliate himself”. When he was asked how any person would humiliate himself, he said: “By exposing himself to risks with which he cannot cope.” (it doesn’t mean that one should not experiment or try but with preparations and precautions.)

He (pbuh) said, “Shall I tell you the definition of a believer? He is one with whom people feel themselves and their property to be safe. A Muslim is the one who does not abuse people by word or deed.”

See the following photo in the light of above hadith, what are we showing to the world, our ability to burn things out, is it according to what Prophet (pbuh) said?  Why do veiling women only show up with danda/sticks and fire?  Does Islam stop women to step out for positive reasons, such as planting flowers and trees, volunteering at Edhi centers in taking care of orphans and traveling within the allowed distance to educate children?

Islam strictly forbids cursing or insulting other’s faith and festivals.  According to Qur’anic logic, if you do that, you will get the same reaction from the other side.  Muslims should are not advised to instigate a situation against anyone but to settle down matters wisely.

Many people suggest that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) should be kept out of discussions.  Why?  Allah (SWT) says in Surah Al-Ahzab, “in Prophet’s seerah/character, there is the best example for you”.  Discussions based on what is haram and what is halal are incomplete without including Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).  We cannot treat him like a maulvi or a scholar that we drag him in at nikah/wedding sermon, divorce, aqiqah, for reading Qur’an or do milad otherwise we just keep him out of our lives.  He is guidance for us in every aspect of our lives.  He is nothing to be afraid of.

Many say, the anger is not against Christians or their festivals but Muslims who follow non-Islamic traditions.  This is just like cursing and burning kids in neighbourhood to show anger against your own child because he/she is following them.  It is your failure, you should curse yourself, burn banners with your name on them, you stand in front of the mirror and say to yourself ‘get lost’ and ‘my foot’.

Islam did not come to exterminate other’s religion, culture and traditions.  It came to introduce people the best way to a quality life.  It came to show how beautifully, peacefully and prosperously the whole mankind live under the flag of Islam.

حیا نہیں لاتی مگر خیر۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ 

شکر ہے ویلنٹانئز شہداء کا کہ جماعت اسلامی کو یوم حیا منانے کا اعزاز دے گئے۔۔۔ حالانکہ حیا کا پیغام اتنا ہی پرانا ہے جتنی انسانی تایخ۔۔۔ رسول الله صلی الله علیہ وسلم کو بھی حیا کا پیغام لائے چودہ سو سال گذر گئے۔۔۔ اور یوم حیا کا آج خیال آیا۔۔۔ عیسائیوں اور امریکنوں کے مقابلے پر۔۔۔

یوم حیا تو وہ دن تھا جس دن حضرت عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی عزت اور عصمت پر لگائے گئے الزام کا داغ خود الله سبحانہ وتعالی نے قرآن کی آیات سے دھویا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ یوم حیا وہ دن تھا جب حضرت مریم علیہ السلام کی عزت اور عصمت پر لگائے گئے الزام کا دفاع ان کے معصوم بیٹے نے کیا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ یوم حیا وہ دن تھا جب حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام عزت اور عصمت پر لگائے گئے الزام کا جواب ان کے اپنے جسم پر موجود لباس نے دیا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ یوم حیا وہ دن تھا جب الله سبحانہ وتعالی نے قرآن کے ذریعے حضرت زینب بنت جحش کا آپ صلی الله علیہ وسلم کے ساتھہ نکاح کا اعلان کیا اور منافقوں کی زبانیں بند کیں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

لیکن جماعت اسلامی یا آج کل کے دینی لوگ کیا جانیں۔۔۔ کیا جانیں یہ کسی کی عزتیں بچانا, خوبصورتی اور احسان کے ساتھہ۔۔۔۔ یہ مقابلے کرسکتے ہیں, شک کرسکتے ہیں, تجسس کرسکتے ہیں, الزامات لگا سکتے ہیں, سزا سنا سکتے ہیں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ 

سمجھہ نہیں آیا کہ اگر مسلمانوں کے لئے ہر دن ماں کادن, ہر دن باپ کا دن, ہر دن محبت کا دن۔۔۔ تو پھر حیا کے لئے ایک خاص دن کیوں۔۔۔ حیا بھی ہر دن ہونی چاہئے۔۔۔۔

ہمارے دینی لوگوں کی ذہنیت ملاحظہ ہو۔۔۔۔ لال مسجد کی خواتین ڈنڈے لے کر نکل آئیں سڑکوں پر۔۔۔ جماعت اسلامی کی خواتین نے سڑکوں پر آکر دنیا کو دکھایا کہ ہم جلانے کی طاقت بھی رکھتے ہیں۔۔۔

بس۔۔۔ یہی سیکھا سکھایا قرآن سے۔۔۔ مارنا, جلانا۔۔۔ 

اسلام سے محبت کا اظہار بھی بے چارے دوسروں سے نفرت کا اظہار کرکے کرتے ہیں۔۔۔ اور کوئی طریقہ نہیں سیکھا شاید۔۔۔  چلو سستی شہرت ہی سہی, دنیا میں مشہور تو ہوئے۔۔۔

وہ جو کسی نے کہا ہے کہ ۔۔۔۔ بد نام اگر ہوں گے تو کیا نام نہ ہوگا۔۔۔

حیا کا کلچر عام کرو, یہ کام صبح سے شام کرو

مارو تھپڑ بیٹوں کو گر وہ آنکھہ لگا ئیں عورت پر

قیمہ کردو شوہروں کا گر وہ ہاتھہ اٹھائیں بیوی پر

شرم دلاؤ بھائیوں کو گر وہ تاک میں جائیں لڑکی کے

نظرمیں رکھو باپوں کو جب پاس کھڑے ہوں کھڑکی کے

 مردوں کی مصروفیت کا چوبیس گھنٹے انتظام کرو

حیا کا کلچر عام کرو, یہ کام صبح سے شام کرو

Love, Pakistan and Valentine’s Day

 What’s love got to do with Saint Valentines?

All early 14 Saint Valentines were the martyrs of Christianity and had nothing to do with love and romance.  The name “Valentine” is derived from valens meaning worthy, strong and powerful.   It is celebrated in churches in religious terms.

The modern Valentine’s Day has gradually been developed to express love and affection through cordate objects, doves, Cupid and red colour.  Cupid, a character in Latin literature by Apuleius had an ability to make people fall in love.  It is derived from Latin cupido meaning ‘desire’ and Amor meaning ‘love’, is the god of desire and erotic love with his Greek counterpart Eros.

The Valentine’s Day is celebrated in many parts of the world including few Islamic countries on different dates with different names in relation to their own  ’mythical love stories’.

However, the religious sector in some Islamic countries condemn it for many reasons, such as, it is a Christian day or is being celebrated by Christian or non-Muslims, promotes immodesty and is against their definition of chastity in Islam.  The word ‘chastity’ anyhow is derived from Latin castus meaning ‘pure’.

Pakistani literature, just like other literature around the world, is full of enchanting love stories.  The characters have been depicted romantically in both prose and poetry.  Heer Ranjah, Sussi Punnoon, Sohni Mahivaal, Omar Marvi, Mirza Sahiban, Yusuf Khan and Sherbano, Adam Khan and Durkhanai, Noori Jam Tamachi are some of the most famous one.  Not only that but Pakistanis are also impressed with the tale of Laila Majnoon and Romeo Juliet and Cleopatra and Mark Antony.

Then there are some  said to be true love stories of Emperor Jahagir (real name Nuruddin Salim) with the maid/kaneez Anarkali and with his wife Mehr-un-Nisa famous as Noor-e-Jahan meaning ‘light of the world’  and Noor-Mahal meaning ‘light of the palace’ – and of Emperor Shah Jahan (real name Shahabu-ud-din Muhammad Khurram) with Arjumand Bano, the 14 year old niece of Empress Noor Jahan, got fame as Mumtaz Mahal meaning ‘the jewel of the palace’.  He built Taj Mahal, one of the wonder of the world, in remembrance of her beloved love.

Avoiding the failed love-affairs, there are few successful real life love stories, topping both Quaid-e-Azam and Madam Noor Jahan with Pakistan, Muhammad Ali and his wife Zeba, Santosh Kumar (Moosa Raza) and his wife Sabiha Khanum, Darpan (Ishrat Raza) and his wife Nayyar Sultana.  Beside that, in my family, out of many love-marriages, I would proudly mention my cousin with her husband, both hearing impaired, enjoying their life romantically with triplets, great couple.

Religiously, the story of Prophet Yusuf/Joseph (peace be upon him) and Zulaikha (Potphar’s wife) was popular among Persian poets.

Out of all, I must say that Emperor Shah Jahan stands out for holding 1st position among all successful lovers and as he waited five years to marry her love, they had 14 children and he built Taj Mahal to express the intensity of his love for her.

Religious parties in Pakistan have been protesting against Valentine’s Day celebrations.  Many moderates also condemn it as the way it is celebrated is against their culture and moral values.

Recently, Jamat-e-Islami (the religious-political party) announced February 14 as Yom-e-Haya meaning the ‘day of modesty’ to defy the effects of Valentine’s Day on our youth.

What has modesty to do with love-affairs, marriage-proposals and exchanging gifts for love?

Modesty/Haya is the part of faith since 1433 years and it should be the part of a Muslim’s personality every second of his/her life.  Hazrat Usman among all companions is considered the most modest man, was married to Hazrat Ruqayyah, Hazrat Umm-e-Kulsoom and Hazrat Naila.

Among prophets, Prophet Yahya ibn Prophet Zakariyyah/Jhon the Baptist is famous for being the most modest.

For Muslims, great example comes from Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who’s character is most appreciated in Qur’an.  He said, “Beloved to me are three things, fragrance, women and salah/namaz/prayer is the coolness of my eyes” – he didn’t use the word ‘my wife’ but women in general.  He married 11 honourable ladies.  Hazrat Kadijah bint Khawailud, the modest lady, proposed him out of love and respect.  Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was shown Hazrat Ayesha and he fell into love with her.  He (pbuh) has mentioned many times his love for Hazrat Khadijah and Hazrat Ayesha.

Although there is a concept of part-time love according to some religious sects, Islam encourages adulation, loyalty and tenderness for better relationship between spouses.  As I have heard a hadith that the worst among transgressors are those who cause fitnah/evil/trial between husband and wife and try to destroy their relationship.

So, in Islamic history, modesty never stopped any man or woman from sending proposals and marriages of their own choice.

Love is the feeling which is appreciated and celebrated in every religion, in every culture, in every era, at every time, by everyone except Pakistan.

Romance is excitement, sentiment and attachment.  It is not just a childish love-affair between a girl and a boy.  Romance is the beauty and attraction found anywhere and everywhere, it could be in food, in clothes, in books, in pets, in flowers, in forests, in caves, in moon and stars, in work, in passion, in money, in people.  For a lot of people it is in Qur’an, in Muhammad (pbuh), in Salah, in Makkah and Madinah.  It is not flirt or scandal all the times.

The coordination, harmony, melody and engineering in nature is romance.  Isn’t it?

What is the value of love and romance in Pakistan?

In Pakistan, love is related to power and authority; love of Allah, love of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), love of parents and husband’s power of sexual intercourse.

The society, as a whole, demands and admires the expression of love in form of unilateral devotion, forbearance, sacrifice and tolerance.

Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “Exchange gifts, it increases love”.  While in Pakistan, exchanging gifts is either a trade done on ceremonies and festivals or a romance.  Romance is entitled as ‘vulgarity, sin and kufr/disbelief’ as it is thought to be happened between a male and a female in seclusion.

Is Valentine’s Day celebration non-Islamic?

Heart-shape objects, notes of love, gifts, doves (excluding Cupid for being a Latin fictional character) are the symbols of love and peace.  Whether they are used at Valentines, Eids, birthdays, weddings or other events, they are meant to express same feelings.

The truth is that Pakistanis in particular have forgotten to celebrate anything at all, especially if it has to do something with love.  They find it more convenient to observe SOG days, protest days, strikes, days long mourning and all occasions that are related to death.

Why Pakistani youth seems more interested in celebrating Valentine’s Day and in a Western style?  These youngster live in a society where they don’t see their parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties, couples in neighbourhood in romance, not even to the limit that is allowed in Islam.  All they observe is frustration and resentment in relations.  All they get to see is dust and barrenness and pollution in the environment.  All they have to hear are arguments, justifications and directions.  Beside that, they are always occupied with celebrations and the related controversies.  Isn’t it all very suffocating?

They know that their parents will decide for their fate.  They can’t look out for a life-partner as Islam has allowed them and even after that they are not free to live as they want.  The life they fantasize through movies, love-tales and western culture.

Are the stories of Cinderella or Phoolmadrani (the Urdu version of Cinderella) and of princes and princesses that nani and dadi once used to tell non-Islamic too?

Islam is the religion of beauty, love and relaxation.  It does not leads anyone to dark ages.

یوم حیا تو وہ دن تھا جس دن حضرت عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کی عزت اور عصمت پر لگائے گئے الزام کا داغ خود الله سبحانہ وتعالی نے قرآن کی آیا سے دھویا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ یوم حیا وہ دن تھا جب حضرت مریم علیہ السلام  کی عزت اور عصمت پر لگائے گئے الزام کا دفاع ان کے معصوم بیٹے نے کیا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ یوم حیا وہ دن تھا جب حضرت یوسف علیہ السلام عزت اور عصمت پر لگائے گئے الزام کا جواب ان کے اپنے جسم پر موجود لباس نے دیا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ یوم حیا وہ دن تھا جب الله سبحانہ وتعالی نے قرآن کے ذریعے حضرت زینب بنت جحش کا آپ صلی الله علیہ وسلم کے ساتھہ نکاح کا اعلان کیا اور منافقوں کی زبانیں بند کیں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔

لیکن جماعت اسلامی یا آج کل کے دینی لوگ کیا جانیں۔۔۔ کیا جانیں یہ کسی کی عزتیں بچانا, خوبصورتی اور احسان کے ساتھہ۔۔۔۔ یہ مقابلے کرسکتے ہیں, شک کرسکتے ہیں, تجسس کرسکتے ہیں, الزامات لگا سکتے ہیں, سزا سنا سکتے ہیں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ 

SCANDALOUS AFFAIRS

Meera’s English, Veena Malik and Mathira’s salacious photographs, Saima Khan and Nargis’s x-rated stage dance, Maya Khan’s super domineering hosting, Nadia Khan’s interference in people’s personal life and many other women with immodest scandals – all bashed up by men of great virtue and character.  Yeah, the common men of Pakistan.   Musarrat Shaheen is said to be the only surviving ‘screen prostitute’ who is eligible for elections in her area.  Men, bearded or clean shaved,  highly relish these situations, surpassing their limits in condemning, cursing and criticizing women for being ‘morally and sexually adulterated’.

These kind of women are commonly titled as ‘bitches’ and men demand their expulsion from society and severe punishment by the government and law even if it be stoning her to death.

Somehow, grieving, howling, moaning, mourning, wailing, weeping, bleeding and wounded, naked and exposed, women have remained the only source of amusement and entertainment for Pakistani men.

While in this very same ,yet, undefined society, many male politicians, celebrities and even common men have been found engaged in lewdness, lechery and sexploitation and have been caught red handed – shockingly all were/are deliberately disregarded and voluntarily exonerated from all sins and crimes.  They should have been called ‘dogs’ and ‘pigs’ too.

Tell me honestly, who do Mrs. Reema Khan, soon to be Mrs. Meera, Mrs. Sana, Mrs. Saima Noor, Mrs. Noor, Ms. Resham, Ms. Nirma, Mrs. Musarrat Shaheen and other female actresses and stage dancers please and upset by oscillating their bodies and shaking their breasts and buttocks so frequently and constantly in the name of fun, art and freedom?  Who do they discompose their physical formation for?  They say their purpose is not to seduce anyone but then why do men feel like that?  Why don’t those men present there stop them – I mean the producer, the director, the actors, the hero?

Why was MAYA KHAN fired immediately while Syed BILAL QUTUB from Alim Online is still there after that controversial program – no public pressure and no condemnation from religious side?

Why was Nadia Khan terminated while Syed Mustafa Kamal was justified after calling public “Ulloo ka Patha” – no conviction by law, no public stricture?

Why are Veena Malik and Mathira called ‘BITCHES’ while Moammar Rana is not called a ‘DOG’ after posing nude in a photo session?

One thing I still haven’t understood is what evil is Veena Malik or Mathira or any other female producing that Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Vidia Balen and other Bollywood actresses have not done?  Lollywood actresses only compete with them in getting naked to buy men’s attention and money.  The google searches have decided who can do it better.  Pakistani men are the most fervent viewers of Bollywood nudity and find it more safe for their faith and purity.

Why don’t men (actors) step forward to defend their co-female colleagues when they are scurrilously attacked by the society and judged by muftis and scholars – I mean Nadeem Baig, Shan, Moammar Rana, Babar Ali, Afzal Khan Rambo, Umar Sharif and those who support art and have been through that medium, like Talat Hussain, Shakeel, Rahat Kazmi, Usman Pirzada, etc.?

It is quite possible that the celebrities purposely propagate these kind of scandals to entertain themselves and to satisfy the lust of popularity.  They would commit suicide if they come to know how their ‘freedom of expression’ sometimes effects and spoils people’s life.

The biggest injustice that we have done to ourselves and our country is that we have handed over the domination and superiority to men who are coward, unjust and unfortunate literates.

The World Beyond Five Senses

I was raised up in a semi-religious family.  My mother never believed in magic or spells, asaib or anything that exists beyond five senses.  She had a firm believe that everything good or bad comes to us from Allah.  She always told us to keep ourselves neat and clean, read namaz, Qur’an and invocations so nothing evil can harm us.  She always suggested us to keep ourselves busy, be good and do good things so we don’t get time to think about any non-sense.  We never had any dars, Qur’an khuwani , milad or Ayat-e-Karimah kind of gatherings in our house.  Beside Eid-ul-fitr and Eid-ul-Adha, we only arranged to observe Rajab (koonday), Sha’baan (made halwa and did prayers) and niaz on 7th and 10th of Muharram.  

Incidents skipping minor details. 

It was my early teenage, I was home alone at almost noon time, a fat just lady entered our house and sat right there.  She had a horrible look on her face and her big popped eyes.  She was panting and had an old rusty tin in her hand.  She stared at me for a while and then I don’t remember if she disappeared or just went out.  

1985 in New York, that was the first time when I had a feeling that I see a shadow coming to me when I close my eyes at night.  That only happened a few times.  I also started having nightmares.  Tigers and serpents attacking me, dogs and criminals chasing me, seeing myself driving on high flyovers in Karachi which were not even built at that time.  A couple of times I saw my father in trouble.  In my dreams, I was always rescued by reciting Kalimah Tayyabah or Ayatul-Kursi or Ayat-e-Karimah.

In 1990, I rented an apartment that appeared to be very frightening.  It was like occupied by some unseen thing all the time.  Later, I came to know that a woman was murdered in that apartment.  I could tell she was there all the time, everywhere.  I left that place in couple of months and moved to another apartment.  It was impossible to live there all alone even at day time.

In 1990, I had those things at my new place.  One of them was like a shadow and once it touched my ankle.  I had to force myself to wake up and my ankle was all heated.  They may be one family because I heard their children playing around.  They were all dressed in white.  They cooked in my kitchen.  They laughed and played in my living room.  My father even felt their presence when one night he stayed over.  One night, I also had a very strange dream.

In 1991, it was my fourth day in the hospital.  Around 2 p.m., I lied down on the bed after having a long walk in the lobby.  As I closed my eyes, I felt the shadow again, it sat on bed and it came over my face so near that I could feel the darkness and the warmness his breath.  I had to wake myself up with an extraordinary force.  

In 1994, at another place, I saw a shadow (just like the one I saw the very first time) standing at the door and stretching its hands to grab my neck.  I opened my eyes, nothing was there.

In 1998, I went to my younger sister’s place.  As she came out of the room, right at that moment I saw right behind her, her husband going to the bathroom.  I asked her that what is her husband doing at home and she said no, he is not home.  I asked her that then who just went to the bathroom and she got frightened and asked me not to do that kind of joke.

Around those days, I went to my elder sister’s house.  Same thing happened, I saw her husband going to the bathroom while he was at his job.  She also got scared.

I had many parakeets but whenever I would buy a pair one had to die for no reason.  I had fish, they never survived.  I always bought plants, they never grew and flowers, they died too.  

In 2002 in Islamabad, it was a very big flat that I rented.  It had many big and small lizards running around right after maghrib.  My daughter and I don’t fear lizards as many women do so we didn’t mind them.  One day I bought a pair of parrots.  The next morning at Fajr, I checked the cage and saw thousands of black ants lined up there.  The female parrot was all eaten up by the ants, the skeleton was lying there.  I let the other parrot fly away to the near by cluster of trees.

In 2004 – 2007, in Karachi, I started having those obvious dreams or whatever they were.  Kittens screaming and rain in my living room, my mom’s voice calling my name, my bed (folding one) with me on it spinning in the air.  During the day time when I was awake, long centipedes appeared a couple of times, the soil and pebbles were found thrown in the sink in the bathroom while the apartment was at the back side and was all covered.  I felt shadows of giant spiders and ants running around.  The cockroaches (the big one) came out of the gutters and followed me when I used to go outside.

I noticed the counter walls in the kitchen were covered with big, black ants (carpenter ants).  I tried insecticides, detergents and I even killed them with broom.  They kept increasing in number.  After few months I came to know the invocation for clearing the effects of evil-eye (nazar ki dua).  I read it, as it was prescribed in the book (fifteen times and blow it on water and sprinkle it all the corners) and in few days all the ants disappeared.

There was a pair of two giant lizards who lived behind the main stabilizer and another one moving around.  They were really fat and long and never moved from there, I tried everything.  Everyone was scared of them.  After a year, one day my nephew spotted one of the lizards lying on the pizza box.  It wasn’t alive and had no wound nothing on its body.  It didn’t move as it was dead.

March 8, 2005, I had a dreamy situation around 9 a.m., I saw my elder sister all dressed up in fancy sari and in make up and my brother-in-law on the other side of the bed.  Then I felt a thing in black clothes flew to my head and bit my hand near the wrist (as I had a habit of sleeping with my right hand around my head).  I forced myself to wake up.  That was the most frightening of all incidents.  Later on, I figured out that they must have been the pair of lizards.  God knows the best!

That was the first time I thought that I should consult an expert.  I saw that old woman with dirty, long white hair and white clothes, may be a witch which appeared through the bathroom door.  I sensed it, said Allah-u-Akbar and pushed it away with my hand.  It flew back through the bathroom door.  Then one night while I was lying straight on the bed, my body jerked and I felt that something fell on me and has entered my body.  Nothing I could do about it.

I saw that creature in black rags, may be a witch, flying on the broom.  It was around 8 or 9 at night.  We were sitting in park in Samanabad.  It flew right behind the ‘flag of Hazrat Abbas’ hoisted on the roof of one of the houses.

I tried many alims and amils, inside and outside Pakistan.  I followed what some of them said.  It was always, just a temporary cure which lasted for few days.  They all diagnosed same things in different words; first, I had been the victim of the black magic spell and second, I am possessed by kind of asaib/shadow/ or something else which is very strong and powerful which came by itself.  

I bought books on these topics.  I tried books of invocations, from both Shia and Sunni sects.  Things stopped happening temporarily but they were there as it is. 

My neighbour always wondered and asked me how I have spent 3 years in that spooky place.  They told me that no one could live in that apartment for more than a year.

Cure for sure:

Out of all the things that I had tried, two gave me the most positive results.  

First, I read ‘Faizan-e-Ghaus’ (a set of Qur’anic surahs and masnoon duas, to be read 100 times each for  11 days only, it was given to me by a well-known expert…the reason why I believed in it because he does not charge anything at all, not even a favour done to him).   On the 8th day, when I finished the wazifah and opened the door of my room, I felt my foot upon something very soft.  I had stepped on one of those giant lizards.  It was lying dead.  The other one was hiding on the side of the door but I didn’t know it.  It was smashed when I closed the door.  I completed the days and I felt that I had actually succeeded in breaking the black magic spell.

My daughter also helped me by reading Durood-e-Tanjeena everyday.  This is the durood she loved the most.

Second, I decided to read Ayat-e-Karimah 125,000/ times all by myself.  I used to read 5000 every morning before 12 p.m. and finished it in 35 days.  Along with it, I read Kalimah Tayyabah 70,000 times and gifted it to my mother (as suggested by someone from interior Sindh).  That resulted in getting rid of that apartment and it was sold finally. 

I am not under any magical effects done by people but that thing, whatever it is, is still there.  It is not a genie as I can tell.  It is something else, very powerful, not powerful than Allah (SWT) for He is the most Powerful.  I still go through that condition, see my body lying on the bed while trying to turn on light or closing door or slipping down the bed.

I feared these things for a long time.  Not now.  Since last few years, I have stopped fearing these creatures because I have realized that they work in limitations and there are ways to control them.

Now I fear people, who happen to be the most cunning, crafty and cruel creatures on earth. May Allah (SWT) be our saviour against evil of everything He has created.  Ameen!
